CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations on your purchase of this stair gate. This product meets the most stringent
safety requirements according to the European standard EN 1930:2011. Using this stair gate
can only be safe when used according to the instructions given in these instructions. Please
read this instruction manual carefully and store it for future reference. The safety of your child
may be aected if these instructions are not followed.
WARNINGS
• Warning - Incorrect tting or positioning of this safety barrier can be dangerous.
• Warning - Do not use the safety barrier if any components are damaged or missing.
• Warning - Stop using the stair gate if the childd is capable of climbing over or dislodging
it.
• Warning - The safety barrier must not be tted across windows.
• Warning - Never use without wallcups.
SAFETY MEASURES
• Always secure the wall cups with screws. Without the screws, the safety barrier can not be
safely mounted.
• To be xed on rigid, stable, smooth and clean surfaces.
• The safety barrier ts for door openings and top and bottom of the stairs.
• Make sure to use the appropriate type of xings depending on the surface available:
wooden screws for wooden surface, multiple usage dowel and concrete screw for concrete
surface, multiple usage dowel and cement screw for cement surface, metal screw for metal
surface.
• The stair gate is designed for use in children aged of 0 to 24 months.
• The safety barrier is for domestic use only.
• Stop using the stair gate if the child is capable of climbing over of dislodging it.
• The stair gate may only be installed and used by adults.
• The safety barrier has been designed for openings between 63,5 and 105,5 cm.
• The gate must be tted in a structurally solid opening free of dirt and grease.
• Do not allow adults, children or pets to climb over or under the stair gate. It may damage
the stair gate and cause injury.
• Make sure there are no items near the stair gate which the child can use to climb over the
stair gate.
• Do not allow the child to play with the stair gate.
• The safety barrier should be checked regularly to ensure that if is secure and functioning in
accordance with these instructions.
