Wanneer u deze knop wel tegen de klok in kunt draaien, is het uitschakelsysteem
defect. U mag de kachel dan niet gebruiken en mag ook niet zelf proberen dit te
verhelpen. U dient dan contact op te nemen met de afdeling Klantenservice.
Pas op! Gevaar!
Verwijder de batterijen nooit terwijl de kachel brandt.
Zorg voor goede kwaliteit alkaline batterijen
Steek de kachel nooit aan met lucifer, een aansteker of welk vuur dan ook.
B. HET VULLEN VAN DE BRANDSTOFTANK
Uit brandveiligheidsoverwegingen dient de brandstoftank als volgt te worden gevuld:
- Schakel de kachel vooraf uit.
- Vul de tank op een andere plaats dan waar de kachel staat.
- In alle gevallen dient u te controleren of de opnieuw gevulde tank goed is afgesloten
en zich op veilige afstand van eventuele warmtebronnen of open vuur bevindt.
1. Trek de brandstoftank met behulp van de
handgreep uit de kachel (figuur D).
2. Open de verpakking met brandstof en steek de
rechte aanzuigbuis van de sifonpomp hierin (1 in
figuur E).
3. Zet de brandstoftank met de schroefdop naar
boven naast de verpakking met brandstof, de
handgreep ingeklapt. Zorg dat de tank goed stabiel
staat of houd hem vast, zodat hij niet om kan
vallen. Draai nu de dop van de brandstoftank.
4. Steek de flexibele, geribbelde slang van de
sifonpomp (4 in figuur E) in de tank.
5. Pomp de brandstof vanuit de verpakking in de tank
door op de balg van de pomp (2 in Figuur E) in te
knijpen. De afdichtstop van de balg (3 in figuur E)
moet hierbij in de stand “ON” (dichtgedraaid) staan.
6. Houd het brandstofniveau in de tank in de gaten.
Dit niveau is af te lezen in het venster aan de
bovenkant van de tank (figuur F).
Zodra dit venster van geel (1 in figuur F) in zwart (2
in figuur F) begint te veranderen, dient u de afdich-
tingsstop naar de stand “OFF” te zetten (wat los te
draaien dus) en te wachten totdat de pomp leeg is
voordat u deze verwijdert. Wanneer het venster
geheel zwart is, is de tankte te vol (3 in figuur F).
Let op: pas op voor overstromen; wanneer dit gebeurt de tank goed schoonvegen
alvorens hem in de kachel terug te plaatsen.
7. Plaats de dop weer op de brandstoftank en plaats de tank weer in de kachel. Het
venster van de brandstoftank bevindt zich nu onder op de kachel. U kunt dit venster
door de behuizing van de kachel heen zien. Het is zwart (1 in figuur G), en wanneer
het geel wordt (2 in figuur G), betekent dit dat er nog maar weinig brandstof over is,
en dat u de tank moet bijvullen. Wanneer het venster in zijn geheel geel is geworden
(3 in figuur G), is de tank helemaal leeg.
LET OP: Controleer voordat u de tank opnieuw vult of de kachel uit en afgekoeld is. Pas dan
mag u de tank uit de kachel nemen. Zo voorkomt u ongelukken wanneer er druppels
brandstof op de kachel zouden vallen.
