before you assemble, use or perform maintenance on the
heater. Improper use can lead to fire, explosion, serious
personal injury, carbon monoxide poisoning or even
death.
Follow all locally applicable requirements and codes when you
install and/or use the heater.
Use in closed rooms is dangerous and is PROHIBITED. Only
use the heater in well-ventilated spaces. Do not use this heater
in a space smaller than 330 cubic metres. A well-ventilated
area for this HKG30 heater has at least 900 square centimetres
ventilation opening (or 30 cm x 30 cm) and the air in the space
must circulate regularly. Incomplete burning caused by lack of
oxygen can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Carbon
monoxide is fatal. The first signs of carbon monoxide poisoning
resemble flu-like symptoms: headache, dizziness, burning eyes
and nose, dry mouth and throat and nausea. If you experience
these symptoms, your heater may not work properly or there is
not enough ventilation. Immediately get fresh air! Have the
heater checked and/or ensure that there is adequate
ventilation. One person may be more susceptible to carbon
