15. Make sure that the ventilation openings are always open and
clean.
16. Never direct the machine towards someone’s face or body.
17. Keep the handgrip and carrying handle dry and clean.
18. Before using the machine, check whether all external screws,
bolts and nuts are tightened properly.
19. Do not operate the machine when it is lying on its side; the
machine is designed to work only in a vertical position.
20. Never suck up burning objects, such as cigarettes or remains of
charcoal. It is also forbidden to suck up inflammable, toxic or
explosive materials. Do not use the device in an area where a
danger of fire or explosion exists due to the use or storage of
flammable or light inflammable liquids and gases such as paint,
lacquer, petrol and so forth.
21. Never use your leaf vacuum without the collection bag or the
blow hose.
22. Do not walk on flint chips or gravel while the machine is
operating.
23. Switch off the machine and pull the plug from the socket before
you check or clean the machine or if you want to take a break
from your work.
24. If you are not using the machine, the plug should be pulled out of
the socket. Store the machine in a dry and safe place out of
children’s reach.
25. This device is designed solely to blow and vacuum dead leaves
and intended for use by private individuals only. It should not be
used for commercial purposes.
26. A messy work area is an open invitation for accidents. The work
area should be clean and tidy and free of surplus objects and
rubbish. Be extra careful if the ground is slippery due to
dampness, grease, sand, gravel or other materials.
27. Check the area where the work will be carried out for wires and
other refuse that may cause damage to the device or injury. If
necessary, use a rake or broom first to remove undesirable
objects before you begin blowing or vacuuming.
28. Do not attempt to vacuum up wet rubbish or water, but instead
wait until the leaves have dried.
29. Do not make any changes or modifications to the device. The
device (including the electrical cable and plug) may only be
opened and repaired by authorized and qualified individuals.
