Note: switch the pump on ONLY if the drainage hose is installed or if the short, pre-
shaped hose that is supplied on the rear of the device is installed and goes to the water
tank. If you switch the pump on without a hose installed, the water will flow out of the
water outlet and onto the floor, where it could cause damage.
3. [ TIMER } button
The timer button is used to set the times at which the device must come on and go off. Press
the Timer button and the light will go on. If you do this while the device is off (but the plug is in
the socket, but you’ve not pressed the ON/OFF button!), you will set the start time. Press a
couple of times on the Timer button to set the number of hours after which you’d like the device
to come on.
Press the Timer button on a working device and you will set the stop time. Press a couple of
times on the Timer button to set the number of hours after which you’d like the device to go off.
Both displays will show the set number of hours. Every time you press the Timer button, one
hour will be added (set from 1 to 24 hours). You can cancel the timer setting by setting the time
to 0 (after 24, you will see 0). The set time will be ‘forgotten’ if you manually switch off the
device, but will remain in the memory if the device stops due to the water tank being full or
during the defrost process.
4. [ SPEED ] button
Pressing on the fan speed button changes the fan speed from high to low and back again. The
light indicates which speed is set.
5. [ OK ] - indication light
Light comes on when the set air humidity has been achieved.
6. [ DEF ] - indication light
When the device is working at a low temperature, the evaporator may freeze. This also impacts
upon the dehumidifying process. In this case, the device will automatically stop working to
defrost (the fan will continue to work at high speed). The DEF ‘defrost’ light will come on.
The device checks for freezing of the evaporator.
The defrosting process takes around 10 minutes and the compressor can be switched off for
around 45 minutes for the defrosting process.
7. [ Full ] - indication light
When the water tank is full, the device will switch off automatically. The indicator light FULL
‘water tank full’ will start to light up and there will be a beep (15 times) to inform the user that the
tank needs to be emptied.
To stop the beeping, any button can be pressed.
To empty the tank, place the fingers of both hands in the handle openings on the left and right
of the device and pull the water tank out from the device gently and in an upright position. Once
you have emptied it, place it back in the same position. After 3 minutes, the device will restart.
When you replace the water tank, you must replace the short, pre-shaped hose (which is
supplied attached to the rear of the device) and lead this through the channel opening in the
water tank. NB: this is important otherwise water damage may occur!
