• Only insert the mains adapter into a normal mains socket that is connected to

the public grid. Before plugging in the mains adapter, check whether the voltage

stated on the mains adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.

• Never connect or disconnect mains adapters if your hands are wet.

• Never unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable;

always use the grips on the plug.

• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or

damaged by sharp edges.

• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them.

This poses a risk of injury.

• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket during

storms.

7. Notes on batteries/rechargeable batteries

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

• Do not leave batteries lying around as they might be accidentally swallowed by children or

pets. If a battery is swallowed, seek immediate medical advice.

• Replace empty batteries immediately to prevent leakage.

• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with your skin,

therefore always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning your skin.

• Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects

or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids could be severely damaged. Always store

batteries in a suitable location that is not prone to damage.

• Batteriesmustneverbeshort-circuited,disassembledorthrownintore.Thereisariskof

explosion!

• Do not attempt to recharge disposable, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of

explosion!

• Never mix disposable batteries with rechargeable batteries.

• Do not mix batteries/rechargeable batteries with different charge states (e.g. full and half-full

batteries/rechargeable batteries).

• Always replace the complete set of batteries/rechargeable batteries. Always ensure that the

batteries are inserted in the correct polarity (observe the plus/+ and minus/- symbols).
