c) Selecting Units for Barometric Pressure ("mmHg", "hPa/mBar" or "InHg")
Briefly press the "" (9) or "" (10) button until the display " " flashes.
Press the button "mode" (11) repeatedly until either barometric pressure at sea
level ("SEA LEVEL") or the actual barometric pressure ("LOCAL") is displayed.
Press the "mem" button (8) until the current unit (e.g. "hPa/mBar") flashes.
Select the desired barometric pressure unit ("mmHg", "hPa/mBar" and "inHg")
with the buttons "" (9) or "" (10).
Briefly press the "mem" button (8) to store the setting and to leave the setting
mode.
d) Setting/Correcting Altitude
The barometric pressure values that you will receive, e.g. on the radio, TV or Inter-
net, always refer to sea level. To display the actual barometric pressure for the
altitude of your residence or the weather station, you can set the altitude.
The altitude is set when commissioning the weather station (insertion of batteries),
but of course it can also be performed subsequently.
(
Alternatively, the actual barometric pressure value at your place of residence
can be set if it is known; see chapter 14. b).
Briefly press the "" (9) or "" (10) button until the display " " flashes.
Briefly press the button "mode" (11) repeatedly until the altitude value is
displayed.
Hold the "mode" button (11) down until the altitude value starts flashing.
Set the altitude value with the buttons "" (9) or "" (10) (for quick adjustment,

mode.
