b) Weather Station
Open the battery compartment (17) on the weather station's rear by pushing
the battery compartment lid downwards a bit so that it can be taken off.
Then insert two batteries type CR2032 into the battery compartment of the
weather station observing the correct polarity. The plus pole marked on the
battery points outwards towards you.
Close the battery compartment again.
All display segments appear briefly in the display after the batteries are inserted.
Then the display for barometric pressure measurement flash.
Set the barometric pressure measurement units (hPa/mBar, mmHg or inHg)
with the "" (9) or "" (10) buttons and then briefly press "mode" (11) for
saving.
Then the display for the altitude units flashes ("meter" or "feet"). Select the
desired unit with the "" (9) or "" (10) button and then briefly press "mode"
(11) for saving.
Now the altitude value flashes. Set the approximate altitude of your position
with the "" (9) and "" (10) buttons. For quick adjustment, hold down the
corresponding button for an extended period of time.
Store the setting with the button "mode" (11).
The weather station measures barometric pressure and shows it in the display
(e.g. "1012 hPa/mBar").
Then the reception icon for the outdoor sensor flashes at the top, about at the
centre of the display.
The weather station is now scanning for the outdoor sensor signal. If no outdoor
sensor is recognised (e.g. because no batteries are inserted into the outdoor
sensor yet), you may start the search manually later.
Then the DCF icon flashes on the display.
