1 Lockable knob nut
2 Spacer
3 Frame clip
4 Lock screw M8
5 Tube
6 U-bracket cu
7 Plug
8 Rubber inserts Ø 25 mm and Ø 30 mm
Mounting the frame holder
Before you can use the lockable frame holder, you must rst dismantle it. First unscrew the knob nut. Now remove the spacer and the frame
clip. Place the thread of the lock screw onto a rm surface and carefully push the tube in the direction of the surface. The screw head will now
push the plug out of the U-bracket cu. Pull the lock screw out completely. Wrap the appropriate rubber insert for your bicycle rack around the
U-bracket at a suitable position for your bicycle. Open the bracket cu and place it around the rubber insert. Push the bracket cu to close. The
rubber insert may not be folded or crushed as you do so. Replace the lock screw. First t the frame clip and then the spacer onto the threaded
end of the lock screw. The curved side of the spacer must face the frame clip. Push the frame clip together and push in the direction of the bra-
cket cu to expose sucient thread of the lock screw. Now put the knob nut onto the thread and then tighten securely to ensure that all parts
are tted and brought together. Insert the plug back into the top of the bracket cu.
Securing a bicycle using the frame holder
Rotate the knob nut anti-clockwise until the frame clip has opened suciently to accommodate the bicycle frame. Insert the bicycle frame
into the frame clip. Rotate the knob nut clockwise until the frame clip loosely encompasses the bicycle frame. Align the bicycle and the frame
holder to ensure that it all ts together. Now tighten the knob nut rmly.
You can only lock the frame holder when it has been closed securely.
Insert the key into the lock of the knob nut and turn so that the red marking faces the lock icon. Remove the key. Your bicycle is now secured to
prevent theft.
CAUTION: Before travelling, you must rst secure the bicycle in accordance with the instructions of your bicycle rack (tensioning
straps, safety strap etc.)
Maintenance and care
Clean the frame holder using a slightly moist, soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or petrol.
Ensure that no cleaning agents or liquids enter the tube of the frame holder.
Occasionally lubricate the lock with a resin-free oil, e.g. WD40.
Store the frame holder in a dry place.
