and at the same time a decimal value will be displayed
(F) indicating that the rapid pre-heating function has
been activated. By pressing the required button (E1 or
E2) the area will turn on in the 4 position.
- To turn off any single area press the related B button.
The display will indicate a 0 position. To switch off the
stove top press the (A) button. If, however, the
temperature of the area to be turned off exceeds 50°C,
the letter (H) will be displayed until the cooling down
process has been completed.
N.B.: the stove top is equipped with safety devices.
When more than one button is activated contemporarily,
or when one button is activated erroneously for a period
longer than 15 seconds, the stove top will automatically
turn off and the letter (F) will be displayed.
Operation (fig.6)
The first time the stove top is switched on, a key button
indicating light will be lit. By pressing button (B) (fig. 6)
for 2 seconds, this will unblock.
This deactivates the key button (B) which is also signalled
by an acoustic tone.
By pressing the A button (on/off) a 0 will appear for 10
seconds on all displays. If no cooking area is selected in
this time, the stove top will switch off.
By pressing one of the following buttons, (-) E1/ E2 or
(+) D1/D2, access to the desired pre-heating zone is
possible.
The set power level may be viewed from the display. By
keeping the (+) button pressed, selection 1 will be
displayed and by pressing the (-) button, selection 9.
Temperature regulations for the desired pre-heating areas
can be made via this operation.
This can be switched off by selecting 0 via the (-) button,
or by pressing the + and – buttons contemporarily for 3
seconds.
- If both hotplates are selected for more than 10 seconds,
the stove top will switch to the OFF (A) position.
The stove top may be switched off by pressing the main
A (on/off) button.
- If both hotplates are selected to the 0 position the
stove top will switch off after 10 seconds.
- When an object is placed on the controls, the stove top
will automatically switch to the OFF position.
- When a hotplate is switched to the OFF position and
the surface temperature exceeds 50°C, a luminous “H”
indication light will switch on, visible on the display beside
the selection button This will remain lit until the cooling
process is complete.
- The B function blocks the stove top from the moment of
selection.
- To activate or deactivate this, hold a finger over the B
sensor for approximately two seconds.
- Operating mode is activated when the C indicating light
is lit.
- By pressing the A button the stove top may be switched
off without annulling the key.
Booster function
This function allows maximum power for a pre-determined
period.
- The rapid pre-heating function is activated by pressing
the (+) button when the power level is 9.
- Activation is indicated with a decimal value (9.)
Within 5 seconds of Booster activation select the power
level (1 – 8) via the (-) button that the stove top must
return to once the Booster function is terminated.
- This automatically deactivates following a period of
approximately 7 minutes.
- This window of time varies in accordance to the power
level set following activation of the Booster function.
- For manual deactivation press the (-) or (+) buttons 5
seconds after Booster operation has been activated.
