CONGELAMENTO CIBI FRESCHI
This appliance has clearly divided compartments.
- The top drawer should be used for freezing fresh food.
- Frozen and deep-frozen products should be stored in the middle and bottom drawers.
- For ideal freezing conditions the fast-freezer (B, pag. 18) must be turned on at least 3
hours before placing the food in the freezer. Once the freezing process has been
completed switch off the fast-freezer to avoid unnecessary energy consumption .
After having prepared the foods to be frozen in small portions (max 1 kilo), wrap them
up in tin-foil paper or place them in polythene bags, make sure they are air-tight, note
the date of freezing and place them in the appropriate drawer.
You do not have to alter the position of the thermostat when you want to freeze food.
Here are some important points to bear in mind when freezing:
- The maximum quantity of fresh food (in kilos) that can be frozen in 24 hours is shown
on the label providing technical details inside the freezer to the left of the bottom
drawer (pag.14).
- Divide the food into small portions to ensure rapid freezing and defrosting.
- Avoid contact between food to be frozen and food that is already frozen to prevent an
increase in temperature of the latter.
FREEZING FRESH FOOD

- Il cassetto superiore è adibito alla congelazione di cibi freschi - I cassetti inferiori e
centrali sono adibiti esclusivamente alla conservazione dei cibi surgelati e congelati.
- Per ottenere un bun processo di congelamento è indispensabile inserire il pulsante di
rapida (B, pag. 18) almeno 3 ore prima di introdurre i cibi. A congelazione ultimata
disinserire tale pulsante onde evitare inutili consumi di energia elettrica.
Dopo aver preparato i cibi da congelare in piccole porzioni (1 Kg. max), avvolgerli
adeguatamente in appositi fogli di politene o alluminio, sigillarli possibilmente a chiusu-
ra ermetica, annotare le date sugli stessi e riporli nel ripiano stabilito.
Per la congelazione degli alimenti non è necessario variare la posizione della manopo-
la termostato da quella del normale funzionamento.
Per ottenere un’esatto processo di congelazione è opportuno dare alcuni consigli im-
portanti:
- La quantità max. degli alimenti freschi, che si possono congelare, in Kg./24h, è ripor-
tata sulla targhetta delle caratteristiche tecniche, situata sul fianco interno del congela-
tore sul lato sinistro a livello del cassetto inferiore (pag. 14).
- Dividere le derrate da congelare in piccole parti in maniera da favorire la rapidità di
congelazione e lo scongelamento della quantità occorrente.
- Evitare di mettere cibi da congelare a contatto di quelli già congelati onde evitare
un’innalzamento di temperatura di quest’ultimi.
