desiderato. E’ importante ricordare a riguardo alcune avvertenze utili:
0° C, assicurando, comunque, la perfetta congelazione dei cibi;
l’evaporatore dello scomparto cibi freschi.
ermeticamente e contenenti bevande frizzanti o gasate (acqua minerale, aranciata,
coca cola) perché il liquido, congelando, potrebbe fare esplodere il vetro.
When using the knob should be set at the position as described previously. Useful sug-
gestions:
- do not store frozen foodstuffs longer than the expiry date indicated by the producers
- do not open the door of the freezer compartment too often and always close it as
quickly as possible
- in case of power failure, do not open the door.
B.2 FREEZING FRESH FOODS
For the packaging of foods to be frozen consult a specialized manual. Before beginning
the freezing process, to keep the foods already frozen from being subjected to an ab-
normal increase in temperature when coming into contact with those to be frozen, free
the compartment below the grid of any food that have been stored there. Then place the
food to be frozen in the freezer. Once loaded the compartment, operate as follows:
- for room temperatures up to 20°C, turn back the thermostat knob indicator of one
setting with respect to the setting used for storage: this with keep the temperature
inside the refrigerator compartment from going below 0° C, which grants, in any
case, the perfect freezing of the foods;
- for room temperatures above 20 °C, the above step is unnecessary; therefore leave
the thermostat knob indicator on i the setting used for storage.
CAUTION:
The freezing process is definitely I completed 24 hours after introducing the | fresh food
so that if at the beginning of the freezing operation the thermostat knob indicator was
moved, it should be | put back to its original setting. Before carrying out a second
freezing operation make sure that the evaporator in the fresh-food compartment has
defrosted.
WARNINGS AND ADVICE FOR FREEZING
a) Do not touch the ice that forms on the walls of the freezer compartment, as this ice,
being at very low temperatures, could cause cold burns.
b) Avoid putting full glass bottles into the 1 freezer compartment, above all if they i are
hermetically closed and contain fizzy drinks (mineral water, fizzy orange, coca cola),
because when freezing, the liquid could cause the glass to explode.
