Please note:
The distance between the hob and the rear
wall must be at least 40 mm.
2. Make a hole in the side of the kitchen cabinet
to enable the gas pipe to be passed through.
3. Place the hob in the centre of the cut-out in
the worktop.
4. Use a pencil to mark the outline of the drip
tray on the worktop (it must be possible to
remove the marked outline later).
5. Remove the hob from the cut-out.
6. Remove the protective strip from the sealing
strip. Then attach the sealing strip to the
worktop, in such a way that the strip
protrudes 3-5 cm beyond the marked edge of
the drip tray (see Fig. 8, A). The strip parts
should overlap each other by about 2-3 mm.
7. Place the hob in the cut-out again.
8. Press the hob on the sealing strip. Then
screw tight the attachment clamps on the
underside of the hob crosswise (see Fig. 9).
9. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut away the
excess sealing material (see Fig. 8, B).
10. Make the gas connection. Check the gas
connections with a soap/water mixture
(see "Gas Connection").
