. Place the powerbase on a ﬂat and stable surface.

2. Open the lid and ﬁll the kettle with fresh cold water.

. Place the lid ﬁrmly in place.

. Put the kettle on the powerbase.

. Connect the plug into a socket.

. Press down the switch to 'I' position, the indicator will light up.

. Wait until the kettle will switch off automatically (the indicator will switch off).

. Discard the hot water.

. Repeat step 2 till 8.

. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.

. The water kettle is now ready for use.

First time use

• To reduce the risk of ﬁre or electrical shock, do not remove any service covers.

• There are no user serviceable parts inside.

• Repairs should be done by qualiﬁed personnel only.

• The maximum capacity of the kettle is 1.0 liter.

• The water level should not exceed the 'MAX' mark (see the inside), as water may

spill out of the spout when boiling.

• Too little water (less than 500 ml) will result in inaccurate temperature indication.

The temperature zone indicated in red at the thermometer is ideal for coffee. For

the correct tea temperature please check with your tea specialty store as this may

vary per type of tea.
