Buitenlijn
Een buitenlijn is hetzelfde als een externe lijn.
Deze kan digitaal of analoog zijn.
DECT/GAP
Digital Enhanced CordlessTelecommunication/
Generic Access Profile. Dit betekent dat uw
gesprekken door niemand kunnen worden
afgeluisterd en dat de spraakkwaliteit net zo
goed is als bij de conventionele vaste
telefoontoestellen. DECT/GAP maakt
samenwerking mogelijk met producten van
andere fabrikanten.
Derde partij
Een derde verbinding (persoon) die kan worden
opgenomen in een lopend gesprek tussen
twee personen. De verbinding kan intern of
extern zijn. Zie ‘Tijdens een gesprek’ op
pagina 23.
IP-oproep
Intern gesprek verzonden via een intern
datanetwerk (LAN of WAN).
ISDN
Integrated Services Digital Network. Voorziet
uw systeem van aanvullende diensten van het
openbare net.
Kort nummer
Kort nummer. Een gesprek beginnen met een
voorgeprogrammeerd nummer door een code
te kiezen of door op een toets te drukken. Zie
‘Verkorte nummers’ op pagina 47.
PBX
Private Branch Exchange. Uw telefooncentrale
(bijvoorbeeld de BusinessPhone-
communicatiecentrale of het MD110-
communicatiesysteem).

Een nummer van 1–8 cijfers dat is toegewezen
aan een aansluiting of externe lijn of als een
algemeen verkort nummer.
Toestelnummer
Alle telefoontoestellen die met de PBX zijn
verbonden, hebben een uniek intern nummer
(tot 8 cijfers). Als uw telefoon met een display is
uitgerust, kunt u uw nummer zien.
Verbindingslijn
Een externe lijn van een eigen netwerk.
