Phone Lock
The phone lock protects the phone from unauthorized
use. The phone lock is not activated when you buy the
phone.
These are the two types of phone locks:
Autolock: you must enter the phone lock code
every time you change the SIM Card in the phone.
Full lock: you must enter the phone lock code every
time you turn on the phone.
Changing the Phone Lock Code

Select the Locks menu.

Select the PhoneLock submenu.

Select New Code.

Enter 0000 at the prompt (the factory default code) or
your own code and press YES.

Key in a 4 to 8-digit personal code at the prompt and
press YES.

Repeat the new code at the prompt and press
YES.
Locking and Unlocking the Phone

Select the Locks menu.

Select the Phone Lock submenu.

Select the desired lock option, Auto Lock, for example.

Enter 0000 (the factory default code) or your own
phone lock code at the prompt and press
YES.
To unlock the phone, choose Unlock in the Locks
menu.
CallCard Lock
The CallCard Lock stores your calling card access phone
number and your verification code and protects your
calling card against unauthorized use. There are two sub-
menus in the CallCard Lock menu:
Security - use this submenu to change your security
code; and to turn your cards on and off.
•Positions - use this submenu to select which card
will be the active card and to store your access num-
bers and verification numbers. There are two posi-
tions: Card1 and Card2.
Accessing CallCards

From the Lock menu, select CallCards.

Select Security.

Enter your security code (0000 is the default).
Note! This security code will be changed separately from the
phone lock code. It can be between 4 and 8 digits.
Changing Code

From the Security submenu, choose Change Codes.

Enter your new code. Press
YES.

Repeat your new code for verification. Press
YES.
