Before using your Ergofix bench lathe, first read this manual thoroughly, so
that accidents can be prevented.
1. GENERAL
Having bought the Ergofix bench lathe, you have become the owner of a high
quality, reliable machine. Using it properly and maintaining it regularly, the
machine will carry out heavy jobs for years to come.
In this operation manual you will find use and maintenance prescriptions.
Before using the bench lathe, read this manual first and be sure that others
have read it as well and have taken the necessary precautions.
This machine has been constructed for metal material processing and is a home
use model. The appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was
specifically designed. All other uses are to be considered incorrect and therefore
unreasonable. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage
resulting from improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
2. DESCRIPTION
Model BV 20 B-L light bench lathe is an engine miniature lathe featuring beautiful
appearance, compact construction, flexible controls and installation, suitable for
metal material processing. The motive power of the lathe is 0,37 kW, 230 V. The
lathe is provided with a set of change gears separately with which they can turn
the general metric screw thread.
The machine tool is the best instrument for the household manufacture and
maintenance, suitable for processing miniature parts.
3. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Regular maintenance increases the life of your lathe.
▪ Keep the work area clean.
▪ Do not expose power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in damp or wet
locations. Keep work area well lit. Do not use power tools where there is a risk
to cause fire or explosion.
