Never leave the machine unattended with the power supply "on".
Always set tree trunks firmly on the log retaining plates and work table. Make
sure tree trunks will not twisk, rock or slip while being cut. Do not force the
machine, this will brake the blade or damage the machine.
Keep hands and feet away from moving parts and do not hold the log with
your hand during the cutting stroke.
Do not use the machine if damaged, any suspect parts are noted or it has
been subjected to a shock load.
If the log cutter needs repairing and/or there are any parts which need to be
replaced, have it repaired by authorized technicians and only use the
replacement parts supplied by the manufacturer.
WARNING: the warnings, cautions and instructions discussed in this
instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that
may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and
caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be
supplied by the operator.
Only those persons who are aware of how to use the log splitter, by having read
this manual, should use the splitter. Injudicious use may cause danger.
4. SET UP FOR OPERATION
Unpack the machine and check if all the parts are present (see page 17).
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the safety
instructions and warnings before use.
MONTAGE
Assemble the machine according to the pictures 1 untill 5 on page 18.
Then proceed as follows(see page 19):
1. Fix the machine with bolts to the floor, so the machine cannot fall over (see
page 22).
2. Mount the left and right small movable guard (1 and 2) for blade on the
suitable position of worktable (4) and fix them with bolts ((3).
3. Mount the baffle (5) on the top position of worktable (4) and fix it with bolts
(6).
4. Enlarge the angle between worktable and tilting support stand (7) and put the
spring (9) into the steel pipe (11) as on the picture.
5. Put the steel pipe with spring into the big hole of bracket (10), then put the
pin (8) into the small hole of bottom of steel pipe and bend the head of the
pin with plier.
