Seleccionar un lugar para la impresora
Siga estas normas para seleccionar un lugar adecuado donde instalar la impresora.
o Coloque la impresora sobre una superficie plana y estable. La impresora no
funcionará correctamente si está inclinada o ladeada.
o Coloque la impresora cerca del ordenador para que pueda conectar el cable
de interface sin forzarlo.
o Deje espacio suficiente para realizar sin problemas las operaciones de
mantenimiento.
o Deje espacio suficiente en la mesa por la parte delantera de la impresora
para poder bajar la bandeja de salida.
o No utilice ni guarde la impresora en lugares sujetos a rápidos cambios de
temperatura y humedad. Evite también que la luz solar incida directamente
sobre la impresora, ni tampoco la someta a fuentes de luz o calor intensas.
o Evite lugares sometidos a golpes o vibraciones.
o Coloque la impresora cerca de una toma de corriente a la que pueda conectar
el cable de alimentación con facilidad.
o No utilice las tomas eléctricas controladas por conmutadores de pared o por
temporizadores automáticos. Evite las tomas que se encuentren en el mismo
circuito en el que estén conectados motores grandes u otros dispositivos
que puedan ocasionar fluctuaciones en el voltaje de la línea.
o Mantenga el equipo alejado de fuentes potenciales de interferencias elec-
tromagnéticas, como altavoces o unidades base de teléfonos inalámbricos.
o Utilice una toma de corriente con derivación a masa; no utilice un adaptador.
Utilizar un soporte para la impresora
Cuando utilice un soporte para la impresora, observe estas precauciones:
o Utilice un soporte que pueda soportar hasta 11.0 kg. sin problemas.
o Nunca utilice un soporte donde la impresora quede inclinada. La impresora
siempre debe quedar nivelada.
