U kunt het geluid van de printer verminderen zonder dat dit invloed heeft op de afdrukkwaliteit. De
afdruksnelheid wordt echter mogelijk verlaagd.

Open de printerinstellingen.

In het Main (Hoofdgroep) selecteert u Off (Uit) of On (Aan) bij de optie Quiet Mode (Stille modus).
Voor Mac OS X
A
Klik op System Preferences (Systeemvoorkeuren) in het menu Apple.

Klik op Printers & Scanners (Printers en scanners) (voor Mac OS X 10.9), Print & Scan (Printen en
scannen) (voor Mac OS X 10.8 of 10.7) of Print & Fax (Printen en faxen) (voor Mac OS X 10.6 of 10.5) en
selecteer vervolgens uw product in de lijst Printers (Afdrukken).

Klik op Options & Supplies (Opties en toebehoren) en vervolgens op Driver (Besturingsbestand).
D
Selecteer Off (Uit) of On (Aan) bij de optie Quiet Mode (Stille modus).
Het aantal ingevoerde vellen papier controleren
U kunt in de printerdriver zien hoeveel vellen papier zijn ingevoerd.
Klik op de knop Printer and Option Information (Printer- en optie-informatie) in het venster Maintenance
(Hulpprogramma's) van de printerdriver (voor Windows) of Epson Printer Utility 4 (voor Mac OS X).
De printer reinigen

Om ervoor te zorgen dat uw printer goed blijft functioneren, moet u deze een aantal maal per jaar goed reinigen
aan de hand van de volgende instructies.
