BMR
Der Grundumsatz (Basal Metabolic Rate – BMR) ist die Energiemenge, die ein
Körper zur Aufrechterhaltung seiner Funktionen an einem Tag benötigt. Dies
bei völliger Ruhe, etwa während des Schlafens, und einer Raumtemperatur
von 28° C.
Ihren tatsächlichen Energiebedarf (Leistungsumsatz) ermitteln Sie, indem Sie
den berechneten BMR-Wert mit Ihrem Aktivitätsfaktor (s. Tabelle) multiplizie-
ren.

Der Bodymass Index (BMI) ergibt sich aus:

Er zeigt auf, ob Menschen normal-, über- oder untergewichtig sind. Auf der
Basis der Werte in den beiden Tabellen können Sie Ihren BMI einordnen.
