6.3 COLLEGAMENTO DEL CARICABATTERIE
Preparazione
Solo per le batterie a vaso aperto
6.1 SCHEMA
L’adattatore per i morsetti (pos. 10 dello schema) si utilizza per collegare il caricabatterie ai poli della batteria secondo il sistema classico. L’adatta-
tore per i terminali ad anello (pos. 9 dello schema) è previsto per collegare in modo permanente una batteria dicilmente raggiungibile. In questo
modo, il caricabatterie può essere collegato semplicemente all‘adattatore.
Pulire il polo della batteria rimuovendo polvere e residui di corrosione.
rimuovere i tappi delle celle. Controllare il livello del liquido nelle celle (leggere in merito le istruzioni per l‘uso della batteria). Versare acqua
distillata badando di non superare il livello minimo. Il liquido si espande durante il processo di carica e potrebbe fuoriuscire dalla batteria. Lasciare
aperte le celle della batteria per l‘intera fase di carica.
Per le batterie sigillate esenti da manutenzione, seguire attentamente le istruzioni del costruttore.
Collegare prima il cavo positivo rosso (+) al polo positivo della batteria. Quindi collegare il cavo negativo nero (-) al polo negativo della batteria. Se
si carica la batteria montata, collegare il cavo negativo nero (-) alla carrozzeria (in un punto non verniciato), lontano dalla batteria, dal carburatore
e dai tubi del carburante. Rispettare sempre questa sequenza.
Fissare il terminale ad anello del cavo positivo rosso al cavo di collegamento positivo della batteria del veicolo, ad es. alle viti del morsetto. Fissare il ter-
minale ad anello del cavo negativo nero al cavo di massa (negativo) della batteria. Posare il cavo badando che non sia piegato né sottoposto a trazione.
Non deve essere ssato vicino ai componenti caldi o rotanti del motore. Il connettore non deve bagnarsi.
