2.1 Fonctions et caractéristiques
• 100% Plug & Play.
• Economise des ports parallèles pour par ex. votre drive Zip ou d’autres appareils
parallèles.
2.2 Contenu du conditionnement
Les éléments suivants sont présents dans votre boîte:
• EM1018, Convertisseur USB vers Parallèle.
• Manuel.
2.3 Avant de commencer
1. Le produit est convient à Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista.
2. Ordinateur ou notebook muni d’un port USB.
3. Imprimante avec connexion centronics 36 broches (standard sur presque toutes
les imprimantes).
3.0 Installation du hardware
1. Assurez-vous que tous vos appareils soient débranchés avant de commencer
l’installation.
2. Connectez le câble USB vers le câble parallèle à un port USB libre de votre PC
ou notebook.
3. Connectez la connexion centronics à votre imprimante.
4. Branchez tous vos appareils et attendez que votre ordinateur ait démarré.
5. Votre ordinateur détectera lui-même le nouveau hardware. Windows trouvera et
installera les drivers. Windows installera maintenant un soi-disant port virtuel
pour imprimante (donc pas de LPT1 ou LPT2 normal).
6. Après l’installation, il faut redémarrer votre ordinateur ou notebook.
7. Déplacez-vous vers “Départ” et “ Institutions”. Sélectionnez “Imprimantes”. Vous
pouvez maintenant ajouter une imprimante ou adapter les caractéristiques de
l’imprimante déjà présente.
8. Choisissez pour “caractéristiques” et “détails” de l’imprimante d’envoyer ceux-ci
vers “USB001” et non vers LPT1 ou LPT2.
9. Imprimez maintenant une page de test pour voir si votre câble USB vers parallèle
fonctionne.
