BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Clean the heating surfaces with a soft damp cloth then dry them.
3. Uncoil the mains cable completely.
4. When first use, the device may give off a slight odor. This is normal and will not last for long.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the device to an appropriate socket. The red light illuminates. Use the adjustable temperature
control to choose the desired temperature.
2. As soon as the required temperature is reached, the green light illuminates and then you can begin
waffle making.
3. Open the waffle machine at its handle.
4. Add some butter onto the grill plates before each use.
5. Pour the prepared dough onto the lower heating surface and distribute it evenly. Please ensure that
the dough does not flow over the edge of the heating surface.
6. Hold the upper heating surface at the handle and close the waffle machine.
7. Bake the waffle for approx 2-5 minutes depending upon the degree of browning required.
8. Open the waffle machine as described above and remove the waffle with a plastic spatula. Do not use
any metal objects (e.g. knife, fork etc.) as they will scratch the coating of the heating surface.
9. If you wish to bake more waffles, pour in more dough immediately.
10. When you have finished baking, remove the mains plug.
Note: During cooking, the green temperature control light cycles on and off to maintain the appliance at the
correct temperature.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. First of all remove the mains plug!
2. Do not commence cleaning until the device has cooled down completely.
3. Clean the outside surface and the heating surfaces with a brush or with a soft, damp cloth.
4. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush, knife) for cleaning.
5. Caution: Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. There is a danger to life from electric
shock!
