INBETRIEBNAHME / BEDIENUNG
Aufstellungsort
Beachten Sie bitte folgende Hinweise, bevor Sie das Gerät aufstellen:
• Den Luftbefeuchter nie direkt unter einer Steckdose aufstellen.
• Den Luftbefeuchter auf einem stabilen, ebenen Untergrund aufstellen und das Netzkabel so
positionieren, dass niemand darüber stolpern kann.
• Den Luftbefeuchter nicht auf einer wasserempfindlichen Bodenfläche aufstellen.
• Den Luftbefeuchter niemals abdecken und nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Möbeln aufstellen.
• Den Luftbefeuchter nur in trockenen Räumen aufstellen und kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
Wasser auffüllen
• Ziehen Sie den Wassertank (6) am Griff (5) nach oben und nehmen Sie ihn heraus.
• Schrauben Sie den Deckel des Wassertanks (8) ab, füllen Sie kaltes, frisches Wasser nach und
schrauben Sie den Deckel wieder fest auf den Wassertank.
• Setzen Sie den Wassertank wieder in das Gerät ein.
Aromabox
Wenn Sie Duftessenz in die Aromabox (17) einfüllen möchten, überprüfen Sie zuerst, dass das
Netzkabel NICHT eingesteckt ist. Heben Sie die Abdeckung (2) mit beiden Händen nach oben ab.
Geben Sie nicht mehr als 2–3 Tropfen Duftessenz in die Aromabox. Der Luftbefeuchter verbreitet
nun einen angenehmen Duft in der Raumluft.
Betrieb
• Der Luftbefeuchter ist betriebsbereit, wenn der Wassertank (6) gefüllt und das Netzkabel (1)
an die Stromversorgung angeschlossen ist.
• Drücken Sie die Taste (3.2), um das Gerät einzuschalten.

Deutsch
• Die LCD–Anzeige (3.1) leuchtet und der Lüfter läuft mit der Anfangsdrehzahl "SPEED 1" (Dreh-
zahl 1). Wird auf der LCD–Anzeige (3.1) “NO WATER” angezeigt, prüfen Sie, ob der Wasser-
tank (6) mit Wasser aufgefüllt ist.
• Auf der LCD–Anzeige (3.1) erscheint drei Sekunden lang “>>”, wenn der Feuchtigkeitsgrad auf
“Continuous” (Dauerbetrieb) eingestellt ist.
• Nach drei Sekunden zeigt die LCD–Anzeige (3.1) den aktuellen Raumfeuchtigkeitsgrad an.
• Mit dem Schalter (3.5) stellen Sie die gewünschte relative Luftfeuchtigkeit ein (40 bis 65%
gefolgt von “>>” (für Dauerbetrieb).
• Danach schaltet die LCD–Anzeige um und zeigt den aktuellen Feuchtigkeitsgrad an.
• Wenn der gewünschte Feuchtigkeitsgrad erreicht ist, blinkt die LCD–Anzeige und zeigt den
aktuellen Feuchtigkeitsgrad an. Der Lüfter stoppt, bis der Feuchtigkeitsgrad im Raum wieder
unter den eingestellten Wert abfällt.
• Während dieser Zeit läuft der Lüfter automatisch alle 30 Minuten für 2 Minuten in "SPEED 1"
(Drehzahl 1).
• Drücken Sie die Taste (3.3), um den Lüfter von “SPEED 1” (Drehzahl 1) auf "SPEED 3”
(Drehzahl 3) umzuschalten.
• Danach zeigt die LCD–Anzeige den aktuellen Feuchtigkeitsgrad an.
• Drücken Sie die Taste (3.4) länger als 5 Sekunden, um den Timer (Zeitgeber) auf 1, 2, 4
oder 8 Stunden einzustellen.

• Nach der Einstellung schaltet die LCD–Anzeige um und zeigt den aktuellen Feuchtigkeitsgrad an.
• Drücken Sie die Taste (3.6), um “AUTO MODE” (Automatikbetrieb) zu starten. In "AUTO
MODE" (Automatikbetrieb) wird die Lüfterdrehzahl automatisch entsprechend dem Feuchtig-
keitsgrad in der Umgebungsluft eingestellt:
– die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Umgebungsluft beträgt mehr als 45%: Die Lüfterdrehzahl ist "0",
der Lüfter läuft nicht
– die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Umgebungsluft beträgt 40% bis 45%: Die Lüfterdrehzahl ist "1"
– die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Umgebungsluft beträgt 30% bis 40%: Die Lüfterdrehzahl ist "2" und
– die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Umgebungsluft beträgt unter 30%: Die Lüfterdrehzahl ist "3" (die
höchste Drehzahl).
• Drücken Sie die Taste länger als 5 Sekunden, um den Timer für die Filterkassetten zurückzu-
setzen.
• Der Timer ist auf 1'440 Stunden programmiert und zählt, wie lange die Filterkassetten im Ein-
satz sind. Nach Ablauf der Filterbetriebszeit blinkt die Anzeige "FILTER" auf der LCD–Anzeige.
Die Filterkassetten müssen gewechselt werden. Ersetzen Sie die alten Filterkassetten durch
neue und setzen Sie den Timer zurück, indem Sie die Taste länger als 5 Sekunden drücken.
Nach dem Reset wird "FILTER" nicht mehr angezeigt.
• Drücken Sie die Taste (3.7), um das Gerät in den “SLEEP MODE” (Ruhebetrieb) zu schalten.
In dieser Betriebsart ist der Feuchtigkeitsgrad auf 45% eingestellt, die Helligkeit der LCD–An-
zeige wird gedimmt und die Lüfterdrehzahl ist “SPEED 1” (Drehzahl 1).

Silver Cube
Die patentierte Technologie des Silver Cube verhindert das Wachstum von Bakterien– und Krank-
heitserregern. Silver Cube kann maximal eine Saison lang eingesetzt werden und muss vor Beginn
der nächsten Heizperiode – d.h., sobald das Wetter kalt wird – ausgetauscht werden.
Auch wenn Sie den Silver Cube einsetzen, müssen Sie den Wassertank täglich mit frischem Wasser
auffüllen.
Nach dem Gebrauch
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker ab.
• Giessen Sie das verbleibende Wasser im Geräteunterteil (10) durch den Wasserablauf (16) ab
und spülen Sie den Wassertank aus.
• Das Gerät muss regelmässig gereinigt werden, um einen hygienischen und störungsfreien Betrieb
zu gewährleisten. Befolgen Sie bitte die nachfolgenden Reinigungs– und Wartungsanweisungen:
– Wöchentlich: Luftbefeuchtergehäuse reinigen
– Alle zwei Monate: Ersetzen Sie die Filterkassetten (9)
– Jährlich: Luftbefeuchter am Saisonende gründlich reinigen
REINIGUNG
Der Luftbefeuchter lässt sich für die Reinigung sehr leicht und ohne Werkzeug öffnen:
• Schalten Sie den Luftbefeuchter aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker ab.
• Heben Sie die Abdeckung (2) mit dem Netzstecker hoch. Dieser Geräteteil darf nicht ins Was-
ser getaucht werden.
• Entnehmen Sie die beiden Filterkassetten (9). Es wird empfohlen, die Filterkassetten nach zwei
Monaten zu wechseln, oder wenn der Timer abgelaufen ist. Wenn Sie die Filter häufiger erset-
zen, verhindern Sie:
– Die Entstehung unangenehmer Gerüche;
– Eine starke Verschmutzung oder Verkalkung des Geräts (z.B. durch hartes Wasser);
– Eine deutlich geringere Luftbefeuchtungsleistung (z.B. durch hartes Wasser).
• Reinigen und entfernen Sie Ablagerungen an der Innenseite des Gehäuses. Spülen Sie das
Gehäuse mit sauberem Wasser aus und trocknen Sie es mit weichen, sauberen Tüchern ab.
Kalk– und Mineralablagerungen können mit einem Entkalkungsmittel entfernt werden.
Achtung
• Das Gerät muss immer gereinigt werden, wenn es mit Wasser aufgefüllt wurde aber nicht
länger als eine Woche in Betrieb war.
Hinweise
• Schalten Sie den Luftbefeuchter immer aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker ab, wenn Sie das
Gerät benutzt haben und bevor Sie es reinigen oder warten.
• Das Gehäuseoberteil darf nie in Wasser getaucht werden. Kurzschlussgefahr! Verwenden Sie
für die Reinigung nur ein feuchtes Tuch und trocknen Sie das Gerät anschliessend gründlich ab.
Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker ab, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
• Das Auslassgitter darf nicht verstaubt oder verschmutzt sein. Reinigen Sie das Gitter nach
Bedarf mit einer trockenen Bürste oder mit dem Staubsauger.
• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keine scharfen Gegenstände, die das Gerät zerkratzen kön-
nen, und keine ätzenden Chemikalien.
NÜTZLICHE INFORMATIONEN
Funktionsweise eines Verdunstersystem:
Wie funktioniert ein Verdunster? Verdunstersysteme befeuchten die Luft und reinigen sie von

Schmutzpartikeln und Pollen. Verdunstersysteme sorgen auf natürliche Weise für eine sehr effektive
Luftbefeuchtung: der eingebaute Lüfter saugt durch wassergesättigte, antibakterielle Filterkassetten
trockene Luft in das Gerät. Die trockene Luft nimmt so lange Feuchtigkeit auf, bis sie gesättigt ist. Eine
Überfeuchtung ist daher nicht möglich. Die Geräte arbeiten extrem ruhig und verbrauchen sehr wenig
Energie. Wir empfehlen den Einsatz von Verdunstersystemen in Schlaf– und Kinderzimmern.
Hinweise zum Wasser:
Verwenden Sie immer sauberes Wasser, damit die Atemluft sauber bleibt. Das Gerät und insbesonde-
re der Wassertank müssen ebenfalls regelmässig gereinigt werden.
Wir empfehlen den Einsatz des Silver Cube, da dieser die Bildung von Bakterien im Wasser verhindert.
Funktionsweise eines Luftbefeuchters:
• Je trockener die Raumluft, desto mehr Feuchtigkeit gibt der Luftbefeuchter ab. Durch das Prinzip
der Selbstregulierung des Verhältnisses zwischen Raumluft und Luftbefeuchter wird die Luftfeuch-
tigkeit nicht zu hoch und der relative Feuchtigkeitsgrad liegt immer zwischen ca. 45% und 60%.
• In grossen Räumen, in denen mehr Wasser verdunsten muss, kann der Luftbefeuchter in der
Nähe der Heizung aufgestellt werden. Die Höchsttemperatur von 50 °C darf jedoch nicht über-
schritten werden.
• Die Luftbefeuchtung funktioniert nur eingeschränkt, wenn im Raum ein starker Luftzug herrscht
(z.B. bei geöffneten Fenstern oder in Räumen mit hohen Decken).
• Beachten Sie bitte, dass die Feuchtigkeit mit zunehmender Erwärmung der Luft zunimmt und
dass es zu unerwünschter Kondensation kommen kann.
• Empfohlene Luftfeuchtigkeit im Wohnbereich: 50–60%
Hygrostat:
Die Standardtoleranzen eines integrierten Hygrostaten liegen bei +/- 10%. Das bedeutet, dass die
effektive, relative Luftfeuchtigkeit dementsprechend abweichen kann.
STÖRUNGSBEHEBUNG
NO WATER (kein Wasser) wird angezeigt. Obwohl das Gerät mit Wasser aufgefüllt ist, funktioniert
der Lüfter nicht:
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Geräteoberteil richtig auf dem Geräteunterteil sitzt.
Gerät funktioniert nicht korrekt:
Warten und reinigen Sie das Gerät, wie im Kapitel "Reinigung" beschrieben. Wenn die Luftfeuchtig-
keit bereits hoch ist, reduziert sich die Feuchtigkeitsabgabe des Geräts.

FIRST USE /OPERATION
Choice of location
Before setting up the device, please note the following:
• Never position the humidifier directly underneath a power socket.
• Make sure that the humidifier is on a stable surface and people can not step over the con-
nected cable.
• Do not place the humidifier on a water–sensitive floor surface.
• Never cover the humidifier and do not place it in the immediate vicinity of furniture.
• Use only in dry rooms and do not use an extension power cable.
Filling with water
• Take the Water Tank (6) from its position by pulling the Handle (5) up.
• Remove the Tank Cap (8), fill cold fresh water into the Tank, and put back the Tank Cap and
screw it tight on to the Tank.
• Put the Tank back onto the unit .
Aroma Box
To add fragrance into the Aroma Box (17), firstly, make sure the power cable is NOT pluged in the
power supply. Remove the Top Cover (2) by lifting it up with hands. Put no more than 2–3 drops of
fragrance in the Aroma Box. Now the humidifier can release a pleasing fragrance in the room air.
Operation
• The humidifier is ready to operate when the Tank (6) is filled and the Cable (1) is pluged in the
main network.
• Pressing the button (3.2) to switch the unit on.

• This will light up LCD display (3.1) and the fan speed is at its initial speed, “SPEED 1”. If it shows
“NO WATER” on the LCD display (3.1), pls check if the Water Tank (6) is filled with water.
• LCD display (3.1) will show “>>” for 3 seconds, as the initial setup of the humidity level is “Con-
tinuous”.
• After this 3 seconds, the LCD display (3.1) will show the actual room humidity level.
• Use knob (3.5) to choose the requested relative air humidity (range from 40 up to 65% and
then “>>” (as continuous)).
• After setting is taken, the LCD Display will switch to show the actual humidity level.
• When the desired humidity level is reached, the LCD Display will blinking with the actual humid-
ity and the fan will stop running until the room humidity level drops below the settled humidity.
• During this period, for every 30 minutes, the fan will automatically run for 2 minutes at speed 1.
• Pressing button (3.3) can adjust the fan speed from “SPEED 1” to SPEED 3”.
• After the setting is taken, the LCD display will switch to show the actual humidity level.
• Pressing the button (3.4) for more than 5 seconds can set the Timer from 1 hour, 2 hours,
4 hours and 8 hours.

• After the setting is taken, the LCD display will switch to show the actual humidity level.
• Pressing the button (3.6) can start the “AUTO MODE”. Under this automatic control mode,
the fan speed is automatically adjusted according to the environment humidity:
-- env. Humidity is more than 45%: the fan speed is “0”– not running;
-- env. Humidity is between 40% to 45%: Fan speed is “1”;
-- env. Humidity is between 30% to 40%: Fan speed is “2”; and
-- env. Humidity is below 30%: Fan speed is “3”– the maximum speed level.
• A timer for 1440 hours is programmed to count the using time of the filter cassettes. When
the time is up, on the LCD display it will show FILTER with blinking light. This indicates the filter
cassettes need to be changed. After you have replaced the old cassettes with the new ones, you
can reset the timer by pressing this button longer than 5 seconds, and the blinking “FILTER”
will disappear after reset.
• Pressing the button
(3.7) can set the unit into “SLEEP MODE”. At this mode, the humidity
level is set at 45%, the LCD display is dimmed, and the fan speed is at “SPEED 1”.
Silver Cube
The Silver Cube with its patented technology prevents the growth of bacteria and germs. It can be
used for a maximum of one season, and must be replaced at the start of the next heating season
(i.e. when the weather becomes cold).
Despite using the Silver Cube, you should refill the water tank with fresh water on a daily basis.
After use
• Switch Off the unit.
• Pull out the mains plug/Cable.
• Pour out the remaining water in the base unit (10) from the Drain Opening (16) and rinse out
the tank.
• Regular cleaning is essential for hygienic and fault–free operation. Please follw the clean and
maintenance instruction as below:
– Weekly: Clean the humidifier housing
– Every 2 months: Replace the Filter Cassettes (9) when necessary
– Annually: Clean the humidifier toroughly after the season

CLEANING PROCEDURES
The humidifier can be opened very easily for cleaning purposes, without using hand tools:
• Switch off the humidifier and pull out the mains plug.
• Lift up the Top Cover (2) with the mains plug. Do not allow this part to be immersed in water.
• Take out both Filter Cassettes (9). It is recommended to replace these cassettes when the
timer is up or after 2 months of using. Replace the filters more often can help to prevent:
• Building up of an unpleasant odour;
• Severe soiling or calcification (e.g. due to hard water);
• Significantly reduced humidification performance (e.g. due to hard water).
• Clean and remove residual deposits on the inside of the housing. Rinse with clean water and
then dry with soft clean cloths. Lime and mineral residues can be removed with a decalcifying
agent.
Caution
• The device must always be cleaned if it has been filled with water but has not been in operation
for longer than 1 week.
Notes
• Before each service and after each use, switch the humidifier off and pull out the mains plug
from the socket.
• Never allow the upper part of the housing to be immersed in water (danger of short–circuiting!)
Only use a moistened cloth for cleaning and then dry thoroughly. Always remember to pull out
the mains plug before any cleaning operation!
• Make sure that the air outlet grill does not become soiled with dust and dirt by cleaning it as
required using a dry brush or a vacuum cleaner.
• Do not use sharp objects likely to cause scratching and do not use corrosive chemicals.
USEFUL INFORMATION
Information how an evaporator works:
How does the evaporator work? Evaporation systems can humidify the air and clean it by removing
particles of dirt and pollen. These products achieve a highly effective humidifying effect in a natural
way: the in–built ventilator sucks dry air through water–saturated antibacterial filter cassettes. The
dry air absorbs moisture until it has been enriched naturally. Excessive humidity is therefore not
possible. These systems work incredibly quietly and require very little electricity. We recommend
evaporators to be used in bedrooms and children’s rooms.
Tips for water:
Always use clean water to be sure that the air remains clean for breathe. The device, and the water
tank in particular, must be kept clean also.
Recommendation: always use the Silver Cube, as this reduces the formation of germs in the water.
Note on the principle of operation of an air humidifier:
• The drier the room air, the greater the output of humidity from the humidifier. The principle
of self–regulation between the room air and the humidifier ensures that the humidity is not
excessively increased, i.e. the relative air humidity varies over a range from approx. 45% – 60%
• In large rooms, when a greater evaporation output is required, the air humidifier can be posi-
tioned close to a radiator (Do not exceed a maximum temperature of 50°C).
• The humidification of the air is restricted in a situation where there is a strong circulation of air
in the room (e.g. open windows and in rooms with high ceilings).

• Please note that the humidity increases as the air becomes warmer and eventually undesired
condensation may occur.
• Recommended values for air humidity in living rooms: 50–60%
Hygrostat:
The standard-tolerance of an integrated hygrostat is +/- 10%. That means the effective relative
humidity level can deviate accordingly.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
NO WATER display lights up even though device has been filled with water, ventilator does not work:
Check that the upper part has been placed on the base correctly.
Low performance:
Carry out maintenance as described in the chapter on “Cleaning Procedure”; if air humidity is al-
ready high, the output of the device will be reduced.
