TIPS FOR FOOD PRESERVATION
The most important is the purity and preparation of raw materials. Fruits and vegetables should be of good
quality, fresh, ripe and well cleaned.
Green beans and/ or peas will be more durable if slightly pre-cooked.
Do not use old or damaged caps.
Fill jars or bottles about 2 cm below the rim, fill purée (e.g. apple sauce) only about 4 cm below the rim.
Fill jar or bottles in just 3/4 of volume with all kinds of sausages.
Close properly jars with screw or spring caps or clamps.
Keep the jars with preserved ingredients in a cool and dark place. For better reference it is recommended
to describe jars with the date and content type.
