I have owned an ELU TGS 172 for nearly 40 years, went to use : 5714

I have owned an ELU TGS 172 for nearly 40 years, went to use it yesterday 2 or 3 weeks after it's last use and found that it's motor is partialy seized and wont start. Regretably begause of a change of circumstances it has been stored in a slightly damp situation, is it viable to try for a repair given it's age?
PS; I live north of Auckland,New Zealand.

- Possibly, if its just the starting capacitor then it should be a straightforward and fairly cheap fix Answered on 13-1-2024 at 15:47
