MAIN MENU / DAY/NIGHT
MINICAMERA OPERATION CHANGE ACCORDING TO VARIATION OF LIGHT PRESENT IN THE
SCENE.
The minidome usually captures colour images, but under poor light conditions it automatically switches its
operation mode from “colour” to “black/white”. In this way the captured image quality is optimized.
Select DAY/NIGHT to choose among AUTO (automatic), CDS-IN, EXT-IN, COLOR and B/W (black/white)
options.
¾ MAIN MENU / DAY&NIGHT / CDS-IN
This function activates the management of DAY/NIGHT switching by means of the light sensor
(called CDS) embedded in the camera.
The sensor detects ambient light conditions and switches the camera status accordingly.
IT IS SUGGESTED TO USE THIS OPTION.

Function Value Description
BURST ON ÷ OFF
If set to ON, the colour burst is present even if the camera is in
black/white mode.
DELAY 0 ÷ 255
Delay adjustment of IR CUT FILTER for DAY to NIGHT, NIGHT
to DAY and black/white switching.
DAY NIGHT 0 ÷ 255
Brightness threshold adjustment, for DAY to NIGHT switching.
NIGHT DAY 0 ÷ 255
Brightness threshold adjustment, for NIGHT to DAY switching.
SMART-IR see submenu
It allows to adjust brightness level on a single area of the image
selected by the submenu.
RETURN /
It allows to exit from the submenu and go back to the upper
level.
BURST
In NIGHT mode, the color burst of the video signal can be enabled/disabled.
DELAY
If different from zero, it can avoid DAY->NIGHT and NIGHT -> DAY switching when the level is near the
switching threshold.
In CDS-IN menu, DELAY, DAY>NIGHT, NIGHT>DAY functions are not available because the camera has
an optimized control of DAY and NIGHT switching and IR LED activation.
