SENS-UP (DSS)
this function increases the exposition of the camera decreasing the number of frames per second and
improving the CAMERA SENSITIVITY with very low light.
This function is enabled with AGC=AUTO and E.SHUTTER=AUTO
This function allows to shoot scenes under poor light conditions. When the brightness gradually decreases,
also the frame per second is reduced (number of images/second), increasing the minicamera sensitivity.
Select SENS-UP to choose among OFF (disabled) option and various exposure types, selecting among
values from 2x to 512x
If this function is used with a minidome provided with an embedded IR illuminator as 80TC1N00133, the
SENS-UP function has the following applications:
• use of the minidome in COLOUR mode, that is without IR lighting. In COLOUR mode and with the
SENS-UP function active, the minidome can capture colour images also under extremely low light
conditions.
• increase of IR lighting range. In case of poor lighting conditions, long distances to be covered,
reflecting walls or other special conditions, the use of SENS-UP function allows to improve the
lighting range.
MAIN MENU / WHITE BAL
This function allows to select the white balancing mode.
Select this menu item to choose among ATW, WAWB, PUSH and MANUAL options.
Function Value Description
ATW /
Auto Tracking White: automatic adjustment based on
surrounding environment detection (outdoor or indoor)
WAWB /
Wide Auto White Balance: allows white balancing when color
temperature range (color gamma) is particularly wide.
PUSH
Push mode allows to fix white balancing to the current value, by
pressing the ENTER button and without other automatic
adjustments.
MANUAL R-GAIN ÷ B-GAIN
This option allows to manually adjust the white balancing
regulating the level of RED and BLUE colors (see below).

Function Value Description
R-GAIN 0 ÷ 255 It allows the regulation of the red color
B-GAIN 0 ÷ 255 It allows the regulation of the blue color
RETURN / It allows to exit from the submenu and go back to the upper level.
NOTE: This option allows to manually adjust the white balancing under extreme lighting conditions (images
with different colours but without white, for example in rooms with fluorescent coloured artificial lighting, etc.).
It is recommended not to use this mode, if not strictly necessary.
