To know before you begin:
All functions of this hob are designed in order to comply with
the more stringent safety regulations.
For this reason:
• Some functions do not activate, or automatically
deactivate, in the absence of pans on the fires or when
they are badly positioned.
• In other cases the activated functions automatically
deactivate after a few seconds when the selected function
requires a further setting that is not given (e.g.: “Turn on the
hob” without “Selecting the cooking zone” and the
“Operating temperature”, or the “Lock Function” or the
“Timer”).
Attention! In the case (for example) of prolonged use,
the cooking zone may not immediately shut down because it
is in the cooling phase; the display of the cooking zones
shows the symbol ''
'' to indicate that it is at this stage.
Wait for the display to go off before approaching the cooking
zone.
Cooking zone display
the display of the cooking areas indicates:

'' (timed):
The "Booster" lasts 10 minutes and the countdown is
shown on the top display (6), then the temperature drops
to previous level.
Note: the timer keeps the "Booster" pre-set even if the pan
is removed: the cooking zone deactivates to reactivate in
"Booster" mode for the remaining minutes as soon as the
pan is repositioned.
Bridge Function
It allows using two cooking zones simultaneously; you can use
the front cooking zone “Master” in combination with the
corresponding zone on the back “Secondary”
(see the
illustrated part in this manual)
To activate the Bridge Function:
Select the “Master” cooking zone (that must be at power
level 0)
- hold until you hear a beep, which will be followed by the
appearance of the symbol “
” flashing (in the secondary
display)
- Select the “Secondary” cooking zone within 3 seconds
- set Operating level (Power).
Note: to deactivate the Bridge Function simply bring the
cooking zone to temperature “
” and wait 3 seconds.
Note: to modify the power level during cooking select the
"Master" cooking zone
Timer (2)
The Timer activates by pressing the Timer (2);
as soon as the timer has completed the countdown a buzzer
sounds (for 2 minutes, or stops by pressing any hob key),
while the display (6) with the symbol "
" flashes.
Timer function adjustment
• Selecting the cooking zone.
• Press the Timer (2) to access the adjustment function.

respectively, clockwise or anti-clockwise, to increase or
decrease the automatic switch-off time;
Note: to increase the time 10 minutes at a time, press
the key (2)
If desired, repeat the operation for the other cooking zones.
Note: Each cooking zone can have a different Timer set;
display (6) will show the countdown with less time;
To switch-off the Timer:
• set the timer value at " "
• turn off the hob (1)
Note: the function remains active if no other
key is pressed.
Note: to the side of the cooking zone with Timer in use the
symbol ''
