you can push cable th at is not needed into

th e com partm ent on th e rear of th e appliance.

Prior to using for th e

first tim e

Prior to preparing coffee for th e first tim e,

you sh ould perform one or tw o brew s w ith

w ater only.

Fill th e fresh w ater container up to th e top

cup m ark ing w ith cold w ater, and w ith th e

appliance sw itch ed on, allow th e w ater to

flow th rough into th e coffee jug w ith out

using ground coffee or filter paper. To do th is,

press th e On/ Off button (Figure 2/B).

1 Preparation

1.1 Inserting th e carbon filter

Rem ove th e carbon filter from th e plastic

pack aging and rinse it th orough ly under

running w ater.

Open th e lid of th e w ater tank (Figure 1/J).

Rem ove th e container (Figure 4).

Insert th e carbon filter in th e filter h older

(Figure 5).

Place th e filter h older in th e container and

lock by turning it clock w ise (Figure 6).

Reinsert th e container, and close th e lid of

th e w ater tank .

Th e tap w ater w ill be filtered during th e

brew ing procedure. Please note th at th e

carbon filter m ust be ch anged eith er after

70 brew ings or after 2 m onth s (w h ich ever is

th e sooner) so as to m aintain th e

effectiveness of th e filter. Th e old carbon

filter cannot be cleaned, and m ust be

replaced w ith a new one.

Filter control

Th e unit h as an autom atic filter control.

Sw itch th e appliance on using th e On/Off

button (Figure 2/B). Press button

(Figure 2/H ).

Th e sym bol is illum inated.

After 70 brew ings, or at th e latest after 2

m onth s, th e sym bol w ill start to flash .

It is th en tim e to ch ange th e carbon filter.

Afterw ards, press button (Figure 2/H )

for longer th an 3 seconds.

Th e sym bol w ill be illum inated as usual.

Briefly press button , if you w ant to use

th e appliance w ith out a carbon filter. Th e

sym bol w ill go out.

11.2 M lin za k afu

S vrem ena na vrem e (u k rajnjem slučaju k ada

se blok ira), neoph odno je čišćenje k anala

m lina da bi se oslobodio od m asnih naslaga

k afe. Da biste to uradili, uradite sledeće:

Isk ljučite utik ač iz struje.

Pom oću oštrog predm eta (npr. zašiljena

olovk a) otk ljučajte pok lopac k anala m lina

(Slik a 1/G i Slik a 18) i povucite pok lopac k a

napred.

Ok renite deo za dovod vode (Slik a 1/D)

k oristeći polugu za rotiranje (Slik a 1/H ) dok se

ne zaustavi (Slik a 13).

Stavite papirni filter u rotirajući filter.

Očistite ostatk e od k afe (uk ljučujući i zadnji

deo k anala) na papirni filter pom oću

odgovarajućeg predm eta (npr. četk e) (Slik a

19 ). Ostaci k afe tak ođe m ogu da se očiste

pom oću usisivača.

Z atim obrišite k anal za m levenje suvom k rpom .

Očistite papirni filter.

Pritisnite polugu za otpuštanje (Slik a 1/C) da

biste vratili deo za dovod vode na poziciju za

k uvanje (Slik a 14).

Pritisnite pok lopac k anala za m levenje (Slik a

1/G i Slik a 18) tak o da legne. Dok to radite,

pritisnite h vataljk u prstom . Proverite da li je

pok lopac pravilno nam ešten.

Vaš aparat za k afu je sada potpuno sprem an

za ponovnu upotrebu.

Ak o se k oriste tam na i m asna zrna k afe,

k anala za m levenje bi trebalo da se čisti češće

nego k ad k oristite svetlija zrna.

Da biste izbegli blok iranje k anala za m levenje:

• Nem ojte k oristiti zam rznuta zrna k afe, pošto

se na njim a k ondenzuje voda pri odm rzavanju

i m ože prouzrok ovati blok iranje.

• D ržite aparat dalje od šporeta i uređaja k oji

k oriste ulje za prženje pošto m ast m ože da

prouzrok uje blok iranje.

• Uvek držite posudu za k afu u zrnu zatvorenu.

S vrem ena na vrem e očistite m lin za k afu

(Slik a 1/E) od m asnih naslaga od zrna k afe

suvom k rpom .

12 Sk idanje rđe - da biste

produžili životni vek svog

aparata za k afu

Preporučujem o sk idanje rđe na svak a tri

m eseca iz predostrožnosti. Ak o k oristite zlatni

filter, izvadite ga iz pregrade za filter pre

sk idanja rđe. Koristite sam o sredstva za

sk idanje rđe k oja nisu štetna po životnu

sredinu i uvek sledite uputstva proizvođača.

Nem ojte k oristiti sredstva k oja sadrže

m etansk u k iselinu. Ne bi trebalo ni da k oristite

sredstva za sk idanje rđe u prah u.

Prvo sipajte vodu u rezervoar za svežu vodu, a

zatim dodajte sredstvo za sk idanje rđe. Nik ada

obrnuto.

Stavite lonac za k afu sa pok lopcem na ploču

za zagrevanje.

Ostavite sredstvo za sk idanje rđe da deluje ok o

15 m inuta, a zatim uk ljučite aparat.

Kada rastvor za sk idanje rđe iscuri, isk ljučite

aparat.

Ak o je potrebno, ponovite proces.

Z atim ponovite postupak bar još dva puta sa

čistom vodom .

Isperite tem eljno lonac za k afu, pok lopac i

filter pod m lazom vode.

Ak tivirajte ventil za sprečavanje k apljanja

nek olik o puta pri ispiranju.

• U slučaju k ratk otrajnog nestank a struje, svi

uneti podaci biće sačuvani najm anje 2 m inuta.

• Ak o se deo za dovod vode slučajno izvuče,

k oristite otpusnu polugu (Slik a 1/C), da biste

je vratili na poziciju (Slik a 14).
