te rijden, het systeem zal dan vrijwel direct ondersteunen. Nadat u stopt met trappen
stopt de ondersteuning ook vrijwel direct.
Het VTS systeem ondersteunt tot een snelheid van ca. 25 km per uur.
1.3. Hoe lang kan ik fietsen met een volle accu?
De actieradius van het VTS systeem varieert van 30 tot 80 km afhankelijk van de
mate van ondersteuning, de omstandigheden en de buitentemperatuur.
Temperaturen rond het vriespunt zijn duidelijk van invloed op de actieradius. Het
systeem presteert het beste boven de 15 graden Celsius. Ook zal de prestatie
afnemen naarmate het gebruik en de leeftijd van de accu.
1.4. Wanneer dien ik mijn accu op te laden?
De bovenste rij lampjes op de stuurunit geeft een indicatie van de acculading. Deze
dient afgelezen te worden als het systeem onbelast is, dus als u niet trapt. Tijdens
het fietsen kunnen er op de indicatie één of twee lampjes minder branden.
Zolang er groene lampjes branden is de accu meer dan 50% geladen. Indien er nog
één rood lampje brand is het systeem bijna leeg en dient u de accu op te laden.
Als de accu helemaal leeg is gaat het rode lampje op de display knipperen en
schakelt het systeem automatisch terug naar minimale ondersteuning
Voor het laden hoeft overigens niet gewacht te worden totdat de accu leeg is. Bij dit
type accu is het geen probleem om hem tussentijds bij te laden.
1.5 Hoe kan ik de accu laden?
U kunt de accu opladen terwijl deze op de fiets is bevestigd of buiten de fiets. Wilt u
de accu buiten de fiets laden dan kan de accu uit de rails worden geschoven door de
accu te ontgrendelen. Dit gebeurt met dezelfde sleutel als die voor het contactslot
wordt gebruikt.
LET OP:
het VTS systeem ondersteunt nog een moment na het stoppen met
trappen!
