Wanneer u een voor de remkabel bedoeld aansluit punt heeft
1. Haal de kabel door het aansluitpunt en haal het daarna een keer door zichzelf
(Fig. 3-4).
2. Of sluit de kabel direct met de clip aan op het aansluitpunt (Fig. 3-5).

LET OP: Bij het aansluiten met een clip moet u controleren of de clip sterk
genoeg is.
Andere opties wat betreft aansluiten van de remkabel
Het is mogelijk om de remkabel te bevestigen aan een vast onderdeel van de trekhaak.
Dit mag u alleen doen met goedkeuring van de maker van de trekhaak.
Controles wanneer de remkabel is bevestigd
1. Controleer of de remkabel niet kan worden aangetrokken door andere onderdelen
zoals het neuswiel of een fietsendrager.
2. Controleer of er genoeg speling in de kabel zit zodat er genoeg ruimte is voor de
caravan en het trekvoertuig om ten opzichte van elkaar te bewegen.
3. Controleer of er niet te veel speling in de kabel zit zodat deze over de grond
schuurt. Wanneer de kabel wel over de grond schuurt kan de kabel zo erg
verzwakken dat deze niet meer zijn werk kan doen!
3.7 Voordat u vertrekt
1. Sluit de 13pins elektrische aansluiting aan op de auto.
2. Controleer de verlichting.
3. Zorg voor een geldig nummerbord achterop de caravan.
4. Controleer door met het neuswiel de koppeling omhoog te tillen of de koppeling
goed vast zit.
5. Draai het neuswiel helemaal op zodat het in de speciaal voor het neuswiel
gemaakte inkeping in de disselcover terecht komt.
6. Controleer of de remkabel goed bevestigd is.
3.8 Handrem
Uw caravan is uitgerust met een BPW handrem. Het is
belangrijk dat voordat u gaat rijden controleert of de
handrem helemaal los staat. Dit is te zien door te kijken
of de handrem helemaal tegen de blauwe stop rust (Fig.
3-7).
