5. Assembly
5.1 Free-standing installation (Fig. 2)
Observe section 1 “Safety regulations“. Caution: To
prevent damage when attaching the feet to the
heater, place the heater upside down on a soft
surface (e.g. a carpet).
Mount the supporting feet (A) onto the housing with
the 2 screws (B).
5.2 Wall mounting (Fig. 3 - 6)
Observe section 1 “Safety regulations“.
Do not attach the feet if the appliance is to be
mounted on the wall.
When selecting the location for the appliance,
please note that if there are skirtings on the floor,
the minimum distance to the housing, or the
installation height, has to be measured from the
top of the skirting.
Caution: Make sure that there are no electric cables
or other installations (for example water pipes) near
the drill holes. Ensure that the bracket is firmly and
horizontally fitted to the wall. Use only suitable
fastening material on a suitably stable wall.
1. Fig. 3: Push the upper wall mountings (C) into the
mountings (D) on the rear side of the appliance
and screw this onto the rear side of the appliance,
together with the mounting bracket (E) and the
lower wall mountings (F).
2. Fig. 4: Mark 2 holes in the wall at a height of 600-
650mm horizontally, 330mm away from each
other. Drill both holes with a drill of diameter 6mm
and insert the anchor fittings. Both screws should
be screwed far enough into the anchor fittings
that the wall mount can be hung up on them.
3. Fig. 5: Hang up the appliance on the wall and
mark the borehole for the mounting bracket (E).
Demount the appliance and drill the hole
(diameter 6mm)
4. Fig. 6: Hang the appliance on the wall and screw
it firmly to the wall with the mounting bracket (E).
6. Starting up

check that the voltage supply is the same as the
voltage details set out on the rating plate.
Read the safety regulations in section 1.
When the appliance is used for the first time or
after a long period of rest it may emit an odor for a
short time. This is not a fault.
All functions can be activated with the push buttons

Make sure that the poles are not reversed when you
change the batteries. Used batteries must be
