Note!! The fan heater has a topple cut-out. For
this purpose a switch is installed on the bottom
of the appliance (Fig. 3 / Item 4). If this switch is
not activated the appliance will not work!
1. Safety information
Ȝ Read the operating instructions before using the
appliance for the first time. The appliance may
only be used as described therein. All other
usages are not permitted.
Ȝ Keep the instructions in a safe place and give
them to third parties if necessary.
Ȝ Check that the appliance has been delivered in
perfect condition. If it has suffered any damage,
do not connect the appliance to the power supply.
Ȝ Check the appliance, particularly the mains lead,
for signs of damage every time before use. If you
find signs of damage, contact your customer
service center.
Ȝ Place the mains cable so that there is no danger
of tripping over the cable.
Ȝ Do not guide the mains cable over hot parts of the
appliance during operation.
Ȝ Never use the mains cable to pull the power plug
out of the socket-outlet! Never use the mains
cable to carry the appliance or try to move the
appliance by pulling the mains cable.
Ȝ Never wind the mains cable around the fan
heater.
Ȝ Never jam the mains cable between objects, or
pull the cable over sharp edges, or place the cable
over hot plates or open flames.
Ȝ Not suitable for commercial purposes.
Ȝ Use the appliance in enclosed, dry areas only.
Ȝ Never open the appliance or touch live parts –
danger of fatal accident!
Ȝ Never use the fan heater in the vicinity of wash
basins, water connections, swimming pools or in
the bathroom!
Ȝ Never immerse the appliance in water – danger
of fatal accident!
Ȝ Do not place the appliance near wet rooms or wet
areas (bathroom, shower room, swimming pool,
etc.). It must not be possible for the control
elements to be touched by a person in a shower,
a vessel filled with liquid or the bathtub.
Ȝ Never use the appliance with wet hands.
Ȝ Position the appliance in such a way that the
mains plug is accessible at all times.
Ȝ If the appliance is not used for a lengthy period of
time, disconnect it from the mains supply.
Ȝ Do not position the appliance directly below a
socket.
Ȝ For supervised operation only.
Ȝ If the appliance is used for a lengthy time the
housing can become very hot. Position the
appliance in such a way as to prevent accidental
touching.
Ȝ Never position the appliance on deep pile carpets.
Ȝ Do not use the appliance in rooms in which
inflammable materials (for example solvents, etc.)
or gases are used or stored.
Ȝ Keep highly inflammable substances and gases
away from the appliance.
Ȝ Do not use in areas where there is a fire risk (for
example wooden sheds).
Ȝ Only use the radiator with its mains lead fully
extended.
Ȝ Not suitable for installation on permanently
installed electrical cables.
Ȝ Do not use the appliance for animal husbandry or
livestock breeding.
Ȝ Do not insert any foreign objects in the applianceʼs
openings.
- Danger of electric shock and damage to the
appliance.
Ȝ Keep children and people on medication or under
the influence of alcohol away from the appliance.
Ȝ Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by authorized trained personnel.
Ȝ Important! Do not cover the appliance – fire risk!
Pay attention to the symbol on the appliance (fig.
5).
Ȝ Children or infirm persons may use the equipment
only under supervision. Children are not allowed
to use the equipment as a toy.
Ȝ Never use the tool without the cover grating.
Ȝ Do not switch on the machine until it has reached
the ambient temperature. Condensation may
damage the heater.
Ȝ Do not use this heater with a programmable
switch, a time switch or any other device that
switches on the heater automatically since there is
a risk of fire if the heater is covered or positioned
incorrectly.
