1. Safety regulations
Never use an axle stand that is defective or
damaged. Check the welds and rivet joints every
time before use.
Make yourself familiar with the equipment and
the folding mechanism before using for the first
time. Ensure that you insert the locking pins
correctly.
It is essential that you obey the safety
instructions for the jack.
The axle stand may only be used on a firm, flat
surface.
After you have chocked the vehicle to prevent it
rolling away and jacked it up, you must support it
as quickly as possible with at least one axle
stand.
Always lower the vehicle slowly and carefully on
to the axle stand.
An axle stand positioned at an angle can slip out
or break.
Ensure that the support area is positioned
correctly on the support point of the vehicle
chassis. The support points are described in the
handbook supplied with the vehicle.
The height adjustment bolt must always be
secured with a pin when there is a load on the
axle stand.
Check the stability of the axle stand before
starting work on the vehicle.
Do not exceed the load capacity of the axle
stand.
Never use four axle stands on a single vehicle.
Never use a jack on one end of the vehicle if the
other end is already jacked up.
Never use the axle stand for three-wheeled
vehicles or trailers.
Always use axle stands in pairs.
