UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp
plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour
coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
For best results with your appliance, please follow the "10 seconds use, 3 seconds break" rule.
This appliance is not intended for professional use. The appliance is made for a short use of 60
seconds. After that, please switch off your appliance for a couple of seconds.
MOUNTING OF THE BLENDER AND USE
• Assemble the pouring jug (4) on the motor block (5) and turn it anti-clockwise till it clicks in
order to unlock the safety switch.
• Fill the pouring jug with the chosen ingredients. For larger quantities, it is recommended to
add the food gradually (maximum capacity 500 ml).
• In case of very hot ingredients, fill the jug to the half. Do not fill ingredients of more than
80°C.
• Before mixing, please cut the large ingredients into small pieces.
• Put the lid (3) on the pouring jug and make sure it is blocked correctly.
• Put the plug in the power socket and switch on the appliance with the switch (1) as
described in the paragraph "Important Information".
• Do not remove the jug from the motor block before the blade (2) is totally still. Otherwise
you might hurt yourself!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug from outlet before cleaning the appliance.
• For cleaning the pouring jug, remove it from the motor block. Clean the jug, the blades
and the lid with hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly with clear water. Dry before
assembling.
• Clean the housing with a damp cloth or sponge. Make sure that no liquid enters into the
appliance. Never immerse the motor block in water or any other liquid.
• Never clean the appliance with metallic utensils and do not use any abrasives.
