IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the
instruction manual together with the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating
plate of the appliance before using the appliance.
People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
Never leave your appliance unsupervised when in use.
Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never use the
appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, all repairs should
be made by a competent qualified electrician(*). Never use the appliance if it shows
visible damage.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute
a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in
any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
Only cook consumable food suitable for baking or grilling. Do not place large pieces of
food or metallic utensils in the mini-oven in order to avoid all risk of fire or electrocution.
Also never place the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard or plastic...
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into contact
with food.
Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
The temperature of the accessible surfaces, such as the door of the oven, may be very
high when the appliance is in use. Never touch those surfaces during use nor before the
appliance has totally cooled down, and only handle the knobs. Should the symbol
be indicated on a certain surface, you need to be careful when handling the product.
This symbol means: CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during use.
Make sure the hot parts of the appliance never come into contact with inflammable
materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire might occur. Also make
sure not to cover the appliance and do not put anything on top of it. Make sure nothing
comes into contact with the heating element of the appliance.
It is advised to place a heat-resistant coating between your table and the appliance (this
way you don't get burns on the table).
Be extremely cautious as oil and fat preparations might catch fire if overheated.
For slices of bread, please do not use your toaster for longer than 10 minutes as otherwise
your bread will be burned. This remark is important as the maximum time is 60 minutes but
this period of time should be used for other things than heating bread.
Caution: Allow at least 25cm of space above the oven and 10cm at the sides. Do not
cover the air outlet openings and make sure the oven has a sufficient airflow.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
