MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance is the basis forensuring that your stove functions well.
The heating stove signals an "Over-temp" or "Service" message on the panel when furthercleaning is necessary.
This is signalled by a message reading “Clean -Exchang.”
IFYOU FAILTO CARRYOUT OFASEASON MAINTENANCE, the stove may function badly; any problems caused by this
are not covered by our warranty.
Failure to carry ourpropermaintenance is therefore one of the reasons that make yourwarranty null and void.
Befor
e doing any maintenance work of any kind, always unplug the stove from the power socket.
Daily cleaning
Use a vacuum cleaner for daily cleaning (see accessories on page 37)
The entire procedure only takes a few minutes every day.
Rattle the cleaning rods located at the top of the front (*) often, but only when they are cold.
Maintenance operations to be carried out when the stove is cold
• Vacuum the door and the combustion hearth;
• Remove the combustion basket or scrape it clean using the spatula provided, clear out any blockages from the holes on all the sides;
• Vacuum out the combustion chamber and clean the edges of the supports it rests on;
• If necessary, clean the glass window (only when cold).
Never vacuum hot ashes, as they would damage the vacuum cleaner.
Weekly cleaning
• Remove the two smoke deviators (follow the sequence in Figures A, B and C) and then clean out the hearth (using a scraper);
• empty out the pellet reserve and vacuum its base after every period of stove inactivity and in any case once every month.
