Date: set the date by entering it directly in digital form or by using the navigation
stick. Once the date is correct, validate it.
Time: same procedure as for setting the date.
Automatic update (Operator-dependent service)
This menu allows you to choose manual or automatic updating of date and time
(after switch off of your phone or when going abroad for instance) (service de-
pending on the operator). On the Date / Time menu, select Automatic upd. and
[Select]. Select Automatic, Manual or On demand and press [Select].
Display
On the Date / Time menu, select Display and [Select].
In the list that appears, select the desired display type from the following:
- Analog,
- Digital,
- None.
Use the navigation stick for selecting the desired option and validate.
Time zone
On the Date / Time menu, select Time zone and [Select].
Choose the time of the country desired by calculating the time from the GMT time.
Daylight savings
On the Date / Time menu, select Daylight savings and [Select]. Select 1h, 2h
Summer time or Winter time depending on the season, and validate.

1.14.11 Help
When accessing menu items a short introductory text message is displayed.
If you do not require this information, select Deactivate to disable the help option
for all menu items.

Bluetooth
The following Bluetooth profiles are supported by the Ex-Handy 05 / Ex-GSM 02:
- DUN („Dial-up Networking Profile“ = Internet dial-up connection)
- FAXP („FAX Profile“ = Faxing)
- HFP („Hands Free Profile“ = Cordless telephony in a car)
- HSP („Head Set Profile“ = Voice output via headset)
- OPP („Object Push Profile“ = Exchange of business cards/calendar
information)
- SPP („Serial Port Profile“ = Serial data transmission)
