Object temperature measurements
• Press the trigger to switch the thermometer on. The device performs a
brief self test: all elements of the display are shown for approx. 1
second. A successful test is confirmed by the color LCD display
(Red-Orange-Green).
• Press the " B/O " until "Object temp" is displayed for accurate
measurements in the range of 0.0 to 100.0°C(32.0 to 212.0°F).
• Point the device at the surface to be measured and press the trigger to
take a temperature reading. The temperature reading appears in the
display.
• Release the trigger and the reading will display for approximately 15
seconds after which thermometer will automatically shut off.
Before shutting off, you can take further measurements if required.
• If the temperature reading is above 212°F or 100°C, "Hi" will appear in
the display.
• If the temperature reading is below 32°F or 0°C, "Lo" will appear in the
display.
The value under this Mode is the object surface temperature and not it’s core
temperature. For exampIe, the reading on stainless steel will be obviously
lower than the actual temperature.
