Product&introduction&
Easypix IR NightVision Binocular is a night vision device with
infrared photo and video recording up to 20MP range and
1080p.
Images and recordings can be viewed on the built-in
2.31"/5.86 cm colour display. For better visibility of the
display, the product also has a magnifying viewfinder. This
makes it ideal for spectacle wearers.
Intended&use& &
This product can be used both day and night. A night vision
camera can capture images and video in dark
environments. The existing brightness is enhanced and a
clear image is produced even when there is little or no
visible light.
The product is ideal for use in security, wildlife and nature
photography.
No audio is recorded during video
recording. The product is intended
for observation purposes only.

Product maintenance
Always remove batteries before cleaning. Only use a soft,
dry cloth or towel to clean the outer housing or lenses.
To avoid damage do not use any cleaning fluids or lens
cleaners.
Storage&environment&
Store the product at room temperature in a dry and
dust-free place.
Do not expose it to direct sunlight or unusually high
or low temperatures.
Ensure the batteries are removed if the product will
be unused or stored for an extended period of time.

First&use&
To ensure optimum performance from your camera,
please follow the steps below when using the camera for
the first time.
Step%1:%Insert%the%batteries%
This product requires 8x AA alkaline batteries (not
included).
Remove the covers on the battery compartments and
insert the batteries ensuring the correct polarity is
observed for each battery.
Close and secure the battery compartment covers.
If the device does not turn on, check that all batteries have
been inserted properly with the correct polarity.
Step%2:%Insert%memory%card%
The infrared binoculars support the use of Class 10
memory cards up to a maximum capacity of 32GB.
Insert the memory card into the memory card slot [2]
ensuring that the card is being inserted in the right
direction.

The card should be inserted smoothly with a small
spring action required to secure it in place.
If there is resistance when inserting the card or use
of force is required, stop and check the card is being
inserted the right way up.
Step%3:%Format%the%memory%card%
To ensure the optimum performance of the card it
should be formatted before using it for the first time.
Enter the ‘Format’ settings in the user menu to
complete the formatting process.
The formatting process deletes any data or files currently
on the card.
Please ensure important files are backed up before
formatting the card for use with the binoculars.

Basic&functions&
Power on/off
To turn on the binoculars long press the power
button [5] for 3 seconds until the colour display
illuminates.
Adjust the manual focus wheel [1] until the image
displayed on the LCD display is clear and in focus.
If powered on during night time or in low light
conditions, press the IR Boost button [3] to activate
the infrared function.
Use buttons [3] to boost and [4] to reduce the
infrared intensity according to the light conditions at
the time of use. The darker the environment, the
more boost is required.
Operating modes
The binoculars have 3 modes of operation which can be
changed by pressing the mode button [9].
Photo Modeuse shutter button [10] to take a
photo
Video Modepress shutter button [10] to start
recording a video. Press shutter button [10] again to
stop recording video.
Playback ModeEnter playback mode to view your
photos or playback your videos.

Photo mode
When turned on, the binoculars default mode of
operation is Video mode. Press the mode button [9]
to change to photo mode as indicated by the photo
mode icon on the display.
Long press button [3] to zoom in or button [4] to
zoom out. The zoom value will be displayed on the
LCD display.
If required use the manual focus wheel [1] to
sharpen the image.
If used at night or in low light conditions press the IR
Boost button [3] to activate the IR function.
Use buttons [3] and [4] to boost or reduce the
infrared intensity according to the light conditions at
the time. The darker the environment, the more
boost is required.
The level of brightness will displayed on screen
[0>1>2>3>4>5>6>7>0]
When all settings have been adjusted press the
shutter button [10] to take a photo.
Video mode
When turned on the binoculars default mode of
operation is Video mode. This mode is confirmed by
the icon on the LCD display.
Long press button [3] to zoom in or button [4] to
zoom out. The zoom value will be displayed on the
LCD display.

If required use the manual focus wheel [1] to

Press the shutter [10] again to stop video recording.
The video will be automatically saved to the memory
card.
The product does not record or play
back audio, as the target is
observed at a distance.
Video recording will stop automatically when the memory card is full.
As this device uses FAT32 formatting, the maximum size for any single
video recording is 4GB.
When any single video recording reaches 4GB of data recorded,
recording will stop automatically.

Playback mode%
Press the Mode key [9] to enter Playback Mode.
Use the Up button [3] and down button [4] to browse the
photo and video files.
Playing video files:
Press the OK button [10] to start video playback.
Press the OK button [10] again to pause playback.
Press the Menu button [8] to stop playback.
Deleting and protecting files
While in Playback mode:
Press the Menu button [8] to display the file options.
Use the Up [3] and Down [4] buttons to choose to
‘Delete….’ Or ‘Lock..’ files.
Press the OK button [10] to confirm your selected
option.
Press the menu button [8] to return to the previous
menu.

Settings&menu&
Use the settings menu to adjust the main camera settings
and dedicated settings for photo and video modes.
To enter the settings menu press the Menu button
[8]
Use the Up button [3] and Down button [4] to
navigate the menu.
Use the OK Button [10] to confirm your selection
Please refer to the table below which lists what
settings options are available under each sub-menu
item.

Switch on the IR function:
Press shortly the button 3.
Increase or decrease the IR boost:
By shortly pressing the buttons 3 and 4 several times.
Switching off the IR function:
By shortly pressing button 4 several times.
IR LED performance is dictated by
the battery capacity at the time of
use.
Full battery capacity:
IR boost settings are adjustable from level 1 to 7.
Formatting the memory card deletes all files,
including locked files.
Before formatting, copy important files to
your computer.
Restore all settings to factory default.
Review the currently installed firmware
version.

Medium battery capacity:
IR Boost settings are adjustable from level 1 to 5.
Low battery capacity:
IR Boost settings are adjustable from level 1 to 3.
Use in daylight:
If used in daylight ensure that the Infrared function is
turned off. If the infrared function is active in daylight
conditions, images on the LCD display will appear in black
and white. De-active the infrared function to display images
in colour.
Use in darkness:
In low light or night time use ensure the infrared function is
active and the infrared boost button [3] and reduction
button [4] button are used in conjunction with the manual
focus wheel [1] to adjust the image to appear correctly and
in focus on the LCD display.
When the infrared function is active, images will display in
black and white on the LCD screen.

File&transfer&
There are 2 options for transferring your files from the
binoculars to your computer.
Via SD Card adaptor
Remove the memory card from the binoculars and
use an SD card to USB adaptor to copy your file to
your computer.
Via direct connection to computer
Turn on the device and connect it to your computer
using the USB cable.
A USB connection icon will display on the binoculars
LCD display to confirm a successful connection.
If the removable drive does not automatically appear
on your desktop screen, open MyComputer or
Windows Explorer to view the removable disk.
