Before Initial Use
1. Check the items supplied for completeness and transport damage. In the event of
transport damage, please contact our customer service department.
2. Insert two AA type 1.5 V batteries into the remote control (see the “Inserting batteries”
chapter). These are not included in the scope of supply.
3. Charge the battery in the car
(see the "Charging the car battery" chapter)
.
Inserting batteries
PLEASE NOTE
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of different types or brands,
or batteries with different capacities.
Two AA type 1.5 V batteries are required for
the remote control
.
1. Slide the ON / OFF switch on the remote control to the OFF
position.
2. Loosen the screw of the battery compartment cover on
the underside of the
remote control
and remove the cover.
3. Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts
in the battery compartment and on the batteries are clean,
and clean them if necessary.
4. Insert two AA type 1.5 V batteries into the battery compart-
ment. Ensure the correct
polarity (+ / –).
5. Fit the battery compartment cover and screw it tight.
Charging the car battery
PLEASE NOTE
Do not connect the car to a computer as the high currents could damage the com-
puter.
A USB cable for connecting the car to the plug socket is included in the scope of supply.
In addition, a USB mains adapter (not included in the scope of supply) matching the
technical data of the car (see rating plate or the “Technical Data” chapter) is required.
1. Slide the ON / OFF switch on the car to the OFF position.
2. Connect the small plug of the charging cable to the charg-
ing socket on the car, and the USB plug to the socket of a
USB mains adapter.
3. Connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible socket.
4. Charge the battery in the car for max. 45 minutes. When
the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator light on
the USB plug of the charging cable lights up.
5. Then rst remove the mains adapter from the plug socket,
then the charging cable from the car.
