Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
Warning – Danger of re! Keep combustible materials away from the device. Fur-
nishings such as upholstered furniture or curtains should be a minimum of 1 m away.
Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
Always place the device
with clear space above it (at least 1 m) and on all sides o
n a
dry, at, solid and heat-resistant surface out of the reach of children and animals (see
the “Mounting” chapter).
Pull the insulation strip out of the battery compartment of the remote control to acti-
vate the battery.
Mounting
PLEASE NOTE!
Use the fastening material supplied to hang up the wall bracket. If you are unsure
whether the fastening material supplied is suitable for your wall, seek advice from a
specialist stockist.
Hang the wall bracket in a secure and solid place.
Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind the intended drilling
point.
The device must be mounted at a minimum height of 30 cm and with a gap of at least
100 cm from the room ceiling, shelves or similar. We recommend a height of approx. 60
cm to obtain an optimum view of the “ replace look” lighting (4).
Before drilling, ensure that a properly installed, easily accessible plug socket is located
nearby and the mains plug can be connected without any problems.

Attaching the Wall Bracket
1. Place the long wall bracket horizontally at the position you want and mark out the
four drill holes.
2. Drill holes into the wall and place dowels in them.
3. Screw the wall bracket onto the wall.
4. Attach the short wall bracket with the two short screws at the bottom of the wall-mount-
ed re.
