Safety
- Ensure that the power outlet is accessible in order to
disconnect the appliance in the event of a malfunction.
- Any extension cables used must meet the applicable safety
requirements.
- Do not cover the protective grates (air inlet and outlet grate)
with objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains etc.
Clean the ventilation grate from the outside from time to
time using a brush. When doing so, please ensure that the
appliance is switched off and not plugged into a power out-
let.
- Regularly inspect the appliance and power cord for visible
damage. Do not operate the appliance if it or the power cord
shows visible damage.
- Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures. Avoid
direct sunlight and heat from heating installations.
- When handling the tower ventilator, pay particular attention
to ensure that no curtains/drapes, clothing (especially ties
or scarves etc.), jewelry or long hair gets caught in the tower
fan. Long hair, for example, could be sucked in by the airflow.
- Route the power cord so that it is not a trip hazard.
Otherwise, there is a risk of serious injury.
- Use original accessories only! Use of non-original accessories
may lead to an increased risk of accidents. No liability will be
accepted for any accidents or damages resulting from the
use of non-original accessories. If non-original parts or
accessories are used, all warranty claims for resulting
damage to the appliance are null and void.
- Always switch off the appliance and pull out the power plug
when you are not using it. Do the same if there is a
malfunction or if an object accidentally falls through the
protective grate.
- Use the appliance only in areas where the ambient
temperature does not exceed 40°C/104°F.
