4) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning
Before cleaning the device, always switch it OFF, disconnect it from the
mains electricity supply.
Cleaning the air lters
It is recommended to clean the air lter monthly when using the device.
Dust collets on the lters and restricts the airow and reduces the efciency
and could even cause damage to the device. The device has 1 air lter
at the rear.
The air lter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy cleaning.
Warning! Do not operate the device without air lters in place!
It might contaminate the evaporator.
It is recommended to clean the lter by wiping it with a damp cloth.
In case the lter needs more extensive cleaning, remove it from the
device.
• Switch off the device
• Remove the plug from the power socket.
• Remove the Air/Honeycomb lter 5 by pulling it off the
device at the top of the lter.
• Remove the lter from the device.
• Use a clean rag to absorb the surface dust on the lter mash.
If the lter is extremely dirty, use tap water to rinse the lter.
• Fully dry the lter mesh before placing it back in the device.
• Lock the lter back in the device.
Cleaning the device
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, cleaning alcohol or sharp objects
like hard brushes or knives.
• Clean the exterior of the casing with a damp cloth.
• Then dry the exterior with a dry cloth.

• The device CANNOT be immersed in water.
