IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read through all the instructions before starting to use the air-conditioner.

Keep this manual carefully.

1. Install the air-conditioner in a place which is inaccessible to children.

2. Do not use the air-conditioner out-of-doors.

3. Place the air-conditioner upright on a firm, even surface. Make sure it is

standing securely so that it cannot tip over or fall. Water can damage furniture and

floor coverings and cause an electric shock.

4. Unwind the cable completely. If the cable is not completely unwound, it can

overheat and could start a fire.

5. Do not use an extension cable or an adjustable speed controller. This could

cause overheating, fire or an electric shock.

6. Attach the air-conditioner only to a single plug with the same voltage as that

given on the type plate.

7. Always unplug the air-conditioner if it is not in use, or before it is moved or

cleaned. Do not pull at the cable to unplug the appliance.

8. Do not point the air-vent (d) directly at people, walls or objects.

9. The air-conditioner operates best at a room temperature of between 17°C and

35°C in the operating modes „COOL“ and „DRY“. Above or below this temperature

zone there can be operational disturbances in this mode.

10. Do not use the air-conditioner anywhere near inflammable gases or materials,

near an open fire, or where oil or water could splash. Make sure that the

airconditioner is not exposed to direct sunlight. Do not use the air-conditioner in a

sauna, or near a bathtub, shower or swimming-pool.

11. Check that the air vents (l/m) (in) and (d) (out) are opened before the

airconditioner is switched on. The air-conditioner must not be located behind

curtains or other objects or obstacles which could restrict the circulation of air.

Make sure that no objects can get into the air-vents in (l/m) or out (d), as this

could lead to overheating, fire or electric shock.

12. Do not unplug the air-conditioner while it is switched on. You must first switch

the power switch (a) to OFF.

13. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes after switching the air-conditioner off, before switching

it back on.

14. Do not immerse the air-conditioner in water or any other fluid, and do not pour

water or any other fluid over the appliance or into the airvents (l/m) and (d).

15. Clean the air-conditioner regularly following the cleaning instructions in the

manual.

16. If the power cable of the air-conditioner is damaged it must be repaired by a

workshop approved by the manufacturer, as special tools are required.

17. Always transport the air-conditioner in an upright position. If this is not

possible, lay the appliance on its side and return it to its upright position as soon

as you arrive at your destination. After each transportation wait for at least 60

minutes before using the appliance.

18. Do not use this air-conditioner if it is damaged or shows any signs of damage

or is not working properly. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.

FUNCTIONS

a) On/Off button to switch the appliance On and Off.

b) Compressor indicator

This indicator shows if the compressor is on or off. When cooling or

dehumidifying the green light illuminates.

c) Water tank indicator

If the water tank is full you will hear an alarm signal sound and the

red light illuminates. The compressor switches off automatically and

changes over to ventilation. When the water tank has been removed,

emptied and put back the appliance automatically changes back to

the original setting.

The desired temperature can be selected with this button. Each

press of the -button increases the temperature by one degree C;

each press of the -button decreased the temperature by one

degree C. The temperature range is 16 and 30 degrees C.

f) Button to select operation mode: Fan – Cooling – Dehumidifying

g) Fan speed button

When cooling or for ventilation the fan speed can be selected by

pressing this button: low, medium, high.

h) Air deflector button: press this button to make air deflectors swivel

automatically.

i) Timer button

When the appliance is in operation you can program the switch off

time with this button. When the appliance is not operating you can

program the switch on time with this button. The maximum switch

off or switch on time is 24 hrs.

By pressing the -button the time will be increased by 30 minu-

tes; by pressing the -button it will decreased by 30 minutes

OPERATION

1. Location (Fig. 3)

Place the appliance on a dry, level surface. A minimum distance of 60 cm from any

wall or other objects must be always kept. Make sure that there are no obstacles

around the unit affecting the free circulation of air.

2. Supply cord

Only connect the appliance to a single phase a.c. supply of the voltage specified on

the rating plate. Local electrical regulations must be observedbe kept. Make sure

that no other appliances are connected to the same socket.

3. Cooling

The temperature range for cooling lies between 16 and 30 degrees C. Wait at least

3 minutes from a previous stop before restarting the compressor.

• Make sure that the water tank is in place.

• The exhaust air tube must be located outside (e.g. through an open window or

hole in the wall) so that the warm air can be discharged.

• Press the " " button until the cooling mode is shown is the LCD-display .

• Select the desired fan speed by pressing the " " button (low, medium, high).

• If the room that is to be cooled down is being exposed to sun close the

curtains. Place the air conditioner far from any other heat source.

Assembly instructions for exhaust air tube and nozzle (Fig. 11)

• Slide the exhaust air hose onto the connector at the back of the appliance.

• Put the hose through an open window to the outside. Close the window as

much as possible.

• If you would like to install the hose through the wall, drill a hole of 131 mm

diameter through the wall and push the hose through the hole to the outside.

• The exhaust air hose can pulled and turned in almost any direction.

4. Dehumidifying

• Keep doors and windows shut to improve the dehumidifying performance.

• Make sure that the water tank is in place.

• Select the dehumidifying mode by pressing the " "-button until the " "

symbol illuminates in the LCD display.

• The exhaust air tube must be located outside (e.g. through an open window or

hole in the wall) so that the warm air can be discharged.

5. Ventilation

• Select the ventilation mode by pressing the " "-button untíl the " "

symbol illuminates in the LCD display.

• Select the desired fan speed by pressing the " " button (low, medium, high).

6. Timer function and setting

• When the appliance is off but the supply cord is plugged in press the " " but-

ton. "Timer On" is being shown in the LCD-display. Select the desired time

by pressing the " " or " " buttons, e.g. 6 hrs. The appliance automatically

starts operating after 6 hrs.

• When the appliance is operating press the " "-button. "Timer On is being

shown in the LCD- display. Select the desired time by pressing the " " or " "

buttons, e.g. 2 hrs. The appliance automatically stops operating after 2 hrs.

7. Automatic oscillation of air deflectors

• When the appliance is operating press the " " button until the " " symbol is

shown in the LCD display. The vertical air deflectors start oscillating from left

to right. Press the " " button once again. The symbol disilluminates in the

LCD display and the air deflectors stop oscillating.

8. Water tank

• When operating the appliance in dehumidifying or cooling mode condensate

water is being drained into the water tank. If the tank is full an alarm signals

sounds and the red light illuminates. The appliance stops operating after 3

minutes. Empty the water tank and put it back.

Caution: Do not remove the water tank when dehumidifying or cooling. If doing so

the alarm signal will sound and the compressor stops working.

If you would like to empty the tank before it is full switch off the appliance. Wait at

least 3 minutes before removing the tank to avoid condensate water enter the

appliance.

9. Constant water draining (Fig. 7)

• Pull out the constant water drain at the side of the appliance. Do only pull it out

for this purpose as otherwise it becomes leaky. Make sure that the drain is not

clogged.

• Hold the drain firmly and slide the condensate water tube onto the drain.

• Make sure that the tube is not bended.

Caution: When the appliance is operating or has just been switched off the

constant water drain must not be pulled out as it could be full or water.

10. Air Filter (Fig. 8)

The air inlet grille is equipped with an active carbon and dust filter.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

• Before cleaning switch off the appliance and unplug the appliance.

• Do not use petrol, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the appliance.

Cleaning of the body (Fig. 10)

• Only use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the appliance clean and dry it with

soft cloth.

Air filter (Fig. 9)

• Clean the filter once every two weeks.

• Pull out the grill at the handle, pull it up and take it out.

• Carefully take off the 6 plastic plates and remove the filter from the grille.

• Gently wash the filter in 40 degree warm water with a neutral detergent.

Let the filter thorougly dry; do not expose to sunlight when letting it dry.

• Put the dry filter carefully back in place and fix it to the grille with the six

plastic plates.

Water tank

• Remove the water tank, empty it and wash it with approx. 40 degree warm

water. Fully dry the tank and put it back in place.

Storage

• Empty and dry the water tank.

• Remove the stopper from the water tube inside the appliance. Let the water

fully drain and replace the tube back into the appliance.

• Clean the appliance as described above.

• After draining the water operate the appliance in ventilation mode for several

hours to thorougly dry it.

• Fold up the supply cord and tighten it at the back of the appliance.

• Cover the appliance with a plastic bag.

Disposal

This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that the appliance

cannot be treated as normal domestic trash, but must be handed in at a

collection point for recycling electric and electronic appliances.

Your contribution to the correct disposal of this product protects the environment

and the health of your fellow men. Health and the environment are endangered by

incorrect disposal.

Further information about the recycling of this product can be obtained from your

local town hall, your refuse collection service, or in the store at which you bought

the product.

This regulation is valid only in EU member states.

Measurement

1. Plug the appliance in.

2. Empty the water tank.

3. Put the water tank in place.

The appliance will automatically switch on after the

set time.

1. The appliance will start working when the tempe-

rature is above 16 °C.

2. Defrost the evaporator; the compressor will then

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Trouble

The appliance is switched on by the "On/Off”-button

but it does not work

The indicator shows an operating mode but the

appliance does not work.

The "cooling” mode has been selected but the appli-

ance does not cool.

The "dehumidifying” mode has been selected but

the appliance does not blow cool air.

The air volume is too little.

The noise level is very loud and the appliance vibra-

tes.

As condition of purchase the purchaser assumes responsibility for the correct use

and care of this KAZ product according to these user instructions. The purchaser

or user must himself or herself decide when and for how long this KAZ product is

in use.

WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme des Klimagerätes alle Anweisungen durch.

Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig auf.

1. Stellen Sie das Klimagerät an einer für Kinder unzugänglichen Stelle auf.

2. Verwenden Sie das Klimagerät nicht im Freien.

3. Stellen Sie das Klimagerät aufrecht auf eine ebene, feste Fläche. Achten Sie auf

einen sicheren Stand, so dass das Klimagerät weder umfallen noch herunterfallen

kann. Wasser kann Möbel und Fußbodenbeläge beschädigen und einen Strom-

schlag verursachen.

4. Wickeln Sie das Kabel vollständig ab. Ein nicht vollständig abgewickeltes Kabel

kann zu Überhitzung führen und einen Brand verursachen.

5. Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel oder einen stufenlosen Geschwindig-

keitsregler. Dies kann zu einer Überhitzung, Brand oder Stromschlag führen.

6. Schließen Sie das Klimagerät nur an eine einphasige Steckdose mit der auf dem

Typenschild angegebenen Netzspannung an.

7. Ziehen Sie stets den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Klimagerät nicht

gebraucht, oder wenn es bewegt, oder gereinigt wird. Zum Herausziehen des Netz-

steckers nicht ander Schnur zerren.

8. Richten Sie die Luftaustrittsöffnung (d) nicht direkt auf Menschen, Wände oder

Gegenstände.

9. Das Klimagerät arbeitet im Betriebsmodus „KÜHLEN“ und „ENTFEUCHTEN“

optimal bei einer Raumtemperatur von 17°C bis 35°C. Außerhalb dieses Tempera-

turbereichs kann es in diesem Betriebsmodus zu Betriebsstörungen kommen.

10. Verwenden Sie das Klimagerät nicht in der Nähe von leicht entflammbaren

Gasen oder Stoffen, in der Nähe von offenem Feuer oder an einer Stelle, wo Öl

oder Wasser spritzen können. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Klimagerät nicht direkter

Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt wird. Verwenden Sie das Klimagerät nicht in einem

Treibhaus oder in der Nähe eines Bades, einer Dusche oder eines Schwimmbe-

ckens.

11. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Luftein- (l/m) und -austrittsöffnungen (d) geöffnet

sind, bevor das Klimagerät in Betrieb genommen wird. Das Klimagerät darf nicht

12. Ziehen Sie nicht den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, während das Klimagerät

in Betrieb ist. Drücken Sie zuerst den Betriebsschalter (a) auf AUS.

13. Warten Sie 3 – 5 Minuten, nachdem Sie das Klimagerät ausgeschaltet haben,

bevor Sie es wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

14. Tauchen Sie das Klimagerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein und

schütten Sie nicht Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten über das Gerät oder in die

Luftein- (l/m) und -austrittsöffnungen (d).

15. Reinigen Sie das Klimagerät regelmäßig und beachten Sie dazu die Reini-

gungsanleitung.

16. Wenn das Netzkabel des Klimagerätes beschädigt ist, muss es in einer vom

Hersteller zugelassenen Werkstatt repariert werden, da Spezialwerkzeug benötigt

wird.

17. Transportieren Sie das Klimagerät stets aufrecht. Sollte dies nicht möglich

sein, legen Sie das Gerät auf die Seite und stellen Sie es sofort wieder aufrecht hin,

sobald Sie am Bestimmungsort angekommen sind. Warten Sie nach jedem Trans-

port mindestens 60 Minuten, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen.

18. Nehmen Sie dieses Klimagerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn es beschädigt ist oder

Beschädigungen aufweisen könnte oder nicht richtig funktioniert. Ziehen Sie den

Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

BESCHREIBUNG DER FUNKTIONEN

a) On/Off-Taste zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Gerätes

Beim Arbeiten des Kompressors im Betriebsmodus Kühlen oder

Entfeuchten leuchtet die grüne Lampe auf.

c) Wassertank-Anzeige

Sobald der Wassertank voll ist, ertönt ein Alarmsignal und die rote

Lampe leuchtet auf. Der Kompressor schaltet sich automatisch aus

und stellt auf Ventilation um. Sobald der Wassertank herausgenom-

men, entleert und wieder eingesetzt wurde, schaltet das Gerät auto-

matisch auf die ursprüngliche Einstellung zurück.

d) LCD-Display (Fig. 5)

Mit dieser Taste kann die gewünschte Kühltemperatur eingestellt

werden. Jedes Drücken der - Taste erhöht die Temperatur um

jeweils 1°C, jedes Drücken der -Taste reduziert die Temperatur

um jeweils 1°C. Der Arbeitsbereich liegt zwischen 16 und 30 °C.

f) Taste für die Wahl der Betriebsart: Ventilieren – Kühlen – Entfeuch-

ten

g) Ventilatorgeschwindigkeits-Taste

Im Betriebsmodus Kühlen oder Ventilieren kann die Geschwindigkeit

des Ventilators mit dieser Taste eingestellt werden: niedrig, mittel,

hoch.

h) Lamellen-Schwenktaste aktiviert die automatische Schwenkbe-

wegung der Lamellen.

i) Timer-Taste

Wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist, kann mit der Timer-Taste die Zeit bis

zum Ausschalten des Gerätes eingestellt werden. Wenn das Gerät

ausgeschaltet ist, kann mit dieser Taste die Zeit bis zum Einschalten

eingestellt werden. Die maximal einstellbare Ein- bzw. Ausschaltzeit

beträgt 24 Stunden. Das Drücken der -Taste erhöht die Zeit um

jeweils 30 Minuten; das Drücken der -Taste verringert die Zeit

um jeweils 30 Minuten.

BETRIEB

1. Aufstellort (Fig. 3)

Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine trockene, ebene Fläche. Ein Mindestabstand von

50 cm zu Wänden und anderen Gegenständen ist unbedingt einzuhalten. Achten

Sie darauf, dass die Luftein- und Austrittsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt sondern frei

von Gegenständen sind.

2. Netzanschluss

Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät nur an eine einphasige Steckdose mit der auf

dem Typenschild angegebenen Netzspannung angeschlossen wird. Achten Sie dar-

auf, dass nicht mehrere Geräte aus der gleichen Steckdose versorgt werden.

3. Kühlen

Der Bereich für Kühlfunktion liegt zwischen 16 und 30 °C. Warten Sie drei Minuten

nach jedem vorangegangenen Ausschalten des Kompressors.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Wassertank richtig eingesetzt ist.

• Der Abluftschlauch muss durch eine Öffnung (z.B. Fenster, Wand) nach draußen

gelegt werden, so dass die warme Luft aus dem Raum abgeführt werden kann.

• Die " " Taste drücken bis der Kühlmodus " " in der LCD-Anzeige erscheint.

• Mit der " " Taste die gewünschte Ventilatorgeschwindigkeit einstellen

(niedrig, mittel oder hoch).

• Falls der zu kühlende Raum direkt von der Sonne beschienen wird, ziehen Sie

bitte die Vorhänge zu. Das Klimagerät entfernt von anderen Wärmequellen wie

Öfen etc. aufstellen.

Montage des Abluftschlauches: (Fig. 11)

• Schieben Sie den abgewinkelten Adapter des Abluftschlauches von oben auf

die Vorrichtung am Luftauslassgitter.

• Legen Sie das andere Ende des Schlauches mit dem aufgesetzten Reduktions-

stück durch das geöffnete Fenster nach draußen. Schließen Sie das Fenster

so weit wie möglich.

• Um den Abluftschlauch durch die Wand zu führen, ist eine Öffnung nötig von

131 mm Durchmesser durch die Wand. Führen Sie den Schlauch durch die

Wand nach außen.

• Der Abluftschlauch kann in die Länge gezogen und in fast jede beliebige Rich-

tung gebogen werden.

4. Entfeuchten

• Halten Sie Türen und Fenster geschlossen, um eine bessere Entfeuchtungsleis-

tung zu erzielen.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Wassertank richtig eingesetzt ist.

• Wählen Sie die Entfeuchtungsfunktion durch Drücken der " "-Taste, bis in

der LCD-Anzeige das Symbol " " erscheint und die grüne Lampe aufleuchet.

• Der Abluftschlauch muss durch eine Öffnung (z. B. Fenster, Wand) nach draußen

gelegt werden, so dass die warme Luft aus dem Raum abgeführt werden kann.

5. Ventilieren

• Wählen Sie die Ventilationsfunktion durch Drücken der " "-Taste, bis in der

LCD-Anzeige das Symbol " " erscheint und die grüne Lampe aufleuchtet.

• Mit der Taste " " die gewünschte Ventilator Geschwindigkeit einstellen

(niedrig, mittel, hoch).

6. Timer-Funktion und -Einstellung

• Wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist und der Netzstecker in der Steckdose steckt,

drücken Sie die Timer-Taste " ". In der LCD-Anzeige erscheint "Timer On".

Stellen Sie mit den Tasten " " und " " die gewünschte Zeit ein, z. B. "6 Hr".

Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch nach 6 Stunden ein.

• Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, drücken Sie die Timer-Taste " ". In der

LCD-Anzeige erscheint "Timer On". Stellen Sie mit den Tasten " " und " "

die gewünschte Zeit ein, z. B. "2 Hr". Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch nach

2 Stunden aus.

7. Automatisches Schwenken der Lamellen

• Wenn das Gerät einschaltet ist, drücken Sie die Taste " ". Das Symbol " "

erscheint in der LCD-Anzeige. Die vertikalen Lamellen führen eine oszillierende

Bewegung durch. Drücken Sie die Taste " " nochmals, erlischt das Symbol in

der LCD-Anzeige und die Lamellen schwenken nicht.

8. Entleeren des Wassertanks

• Beim Entfeuchten und Kühlen wird das Kondenswasser im Wassertank aufge-

fangen. Sobald der Tank voll ist, ertönt ein Alarmsignal und die rote Lampe

leuchtet auf. Die Kühl- bzw. Entfeuchtungsfunktion wird nach 3 Minuten abge-

schaltet. Entleeren Sie den Wassertank und setzen Sie ihn wieder ein.

Vorsicht: Nehmen Sie den Wassertank während des Entfeuchtens und Kühlens

nicht heraus, da sonst das Alarmsignal ertönt und sich der Kompressor ausschaltet.

Falls Sie den Wassertank entleeren möchten, bevor er voll ist, schalten Sie das

Gerät aus. Warten Sie ca. 3 Minuten, bevor Sie den Tank herausnehmen, damit

kein Kondenswasser in das Gerät läuft.

9. Permanenter Wasserablauf (Fig. 7)

• Ziehen Sie den Dauerablauf an der Seite des Gerätes heraus. Ziehen Sie das

Fach nur zu diesem Zweck heraus, da der Abfluss andernfalls undicht wird.

Achten Sie darauf, dass der Ablauf nicht verstopft ist.

• Halten Sie den Ablauf fest und stecken Sie den Ablaufschlauch auf.

• Achten Sie darauf, daß der Schlauch nicht geknickt ist und über die gesamte

Länge Gefälle hat.

Achtung: Wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist oder gerade abgestellt wurde, darf der

Dauerablauf nicht herausgezogen werden, da er voll mit Wasser sein könnte.

10. Luftfilter (Fig. 8)

Das Lufteinlassgitter ist mit einem Aktivkohle- und Staubfilter versehen.

WARTUNG UND PFLEGE

• Vor dem Reinigen schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker

aus der Steckdose.

• Verwenden Sie kein Benzin, keine Verdünner oder andere Chemikalien zum

Reinigen des Gerätes.

Reinigung des Gehäuses (Fig. 10)

• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung des Gehäuses ein weiches, feuchtes Tuch und

gehen Sie mit einem trockenen Tuch nach.

Luftfilter (Fig. 9)

• Reinigen Sie den Luftfilter alle zwei Wochen.

• Ziehen Sie das Gitter am Handgriff nach aussen, ziehen Sie es dann nach oben

und nehmen Sie es heraus.

• Entfernen Sie vorsichtig die 6 Plastikplättchen und nehmen Sie den Filter vom

Gitter.

• Waschen Sie den Filter vorsichtig in ca. 40 °C warmem Wasser mit einem

neutralen Reinigungsmittel. Der Filter muss vollständig trocken sein; zum

Trocknen nicht in die Sonne legen.

• Den trockenen Filter wieder vorsichtig mit den 6 Plastikplättchen am Gitter

befestigen und dann in das Gerät einsetzen.

Wassertank

• Nehmen Sie den Wassertank heraus, entleeren Sie ihn und waschen Sie ihn in

ca. 40 °C warmem Wasser aus. Trocknen Sie den Tank vollständig ab und

setzen Sie ihn wieder in das Gerät ein.

Lagerung

• Entleeren und trocknen Sie den Wassertank.

• Entfernen Sie den Stopper vom Wasserschlauch im Innern des Gerätes, lassen

Sie das Wasser vollständig ablaufen und legen Sie den Schlauch zurück in das

Gerät.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie oben beschrieben.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät, nachdem Sie das Wasser abgelassen und das Gerät

gereinigt haben, einige Stunden im Ventilationsmodus laufen, um zu gewähr-

leisten, dass das Gerät vollständig trocken ist.

• Legen Sie das Netzkabel zusammen und befestigen Sie es auf der Rückseite

des Gerätes.

• Decken Sie das Gerät mit einer Plastikhülle ab.

UTILIZAÇÃO

1. Localização (Fig. 3)

Coloque o seu aparelho numa superfície nivelada e seca. Deve ser colocado a uma

distância miníma de 60 cm de qualquer objecto ou parede. Assegure-se de que

não existem obstáculos em redor do aparelho afectando a livre circulação de ar.

2. Fonte de alimentação

Ligue o aparelho apenas a uma tomada monofásica a.c. com a voltagem especifi-

cada na placa metálica. As normas eléctricas do local devem ser respeitadas. Cer-

tifique-se de que não liga mais nenhum aparelho elèctrico há mesma tomada.

3. Refrigeração

Temperatura para refrigeração situa-se entre os 16 e 30 graus C. Espere pelo

menos 3 minutos, após uma paragem, para reiniciar o funcionamento do com-

pressor.

• Assegure-se de que o depósito de água está colocado.

• O Tubo extensível deve ser colocado para o exterior (através de uma janela

semi-aberta ou através de uma abertura na parede) desta forma o ar quente

pode ser expelido para fora de casa.

• Pressione o botão " " até o modo de refrigeração ser mostrado no LCD-

expositor.

• Seleccione a velocidade de ventilação desejada pressionando o botão " "

(baixo, medio, alto).

• Se o quarto que quer esfriar estiver exposto ao sol, corra as cortinas ou persia-

nas. Coloque o ar condicionado longe de qualquer outra fonte de calor.

Instrucções de montagem para o Tubo flexível (Fig. 11)

• Coloque o tubo flexível na abertura que se encontra na parte de trás do aparelho.

• Coloque o tubo através de uma janela para o exterior. Feche a janela o máximo

que fôr possível.

• Se deseja instalar o tubo através da parede, faça uma abertura de 131 mm de

diametro na parede e puche o tubo através dessa abertura até ao exterior.

• O tubo flexível pode ser movído em quase todas as direcções.

4. Desumidificação

• Mantenha portas e janelas fechadas para improvisar um ambiente de desum-

idificação.

• Certifique-se de que o depósito de água está colocado no seu devido lugar.

• Seleccione o modo de deumidificação pressionando o botão " "-até o " "

simbolo se iluminar no LCD expositor.

• O Tubo extensível deve ser colocado para o exterior (através de uma janela

semi-aberta ou através de uma abertura na parede) desta forma o ar quente

pode ser expelido para fora de casa.

5. Ventilação

• Selecione o modo de ventilação pressionando o botão " "-até o " "

simbolo se iluminar noLCD expositor.

• Seleccione a vlocidade de ventilação desejada pressionando o botão " "

(Baixo, medio, e alto).

6. Função do Temporizador

• Quando o aparelho está desligado mas o cabo de alimentação está ligado pres

sione o botão do temporizador. "Temporizador Ligado " " aparece LCD-

expositor. Seleccione o tempo desejado pressionando o botão " " ou " "

por ex.: 6 hrs. O aparelho automáticamente começa a funcionar depois das 6 hrs.

• Quando o aparelho está a funcionar pressione o botão Temporizador " " o

Tempo aparece no LCD- expositor. Seleccione o tempo desejado pressionando

o botão " " ou " " , por ex.: 2 hrs. O aparelho automáticamente pára após

as 2 hrs. de funcionamento.

7. Oscilação automática dos reflectores de Ar

• Quando o aparelho está em funcionamento pressione o botão " " até o " "

simbolo aparecer no LCD expositor. Os reflectores de ar verticais cvomeçam a

oscilar da direita para a esquerda. Pressione o botão " " uma vez mais. O

símbolo perde a iluminação no LCD expositor e o reflector de ar pára a oscilação.

8. Depósito de água

• Quando utilizar o aparelho no modo de desumidificação ou refrigeração a água

começa a ser drenada para o depósito de água. Se o depósito estiver cheio

ouve-se um sinal de alarme e luz vermelha acende-se. O aparelho pára de fun-

cionar após 3 minutos. Esvazie o depódito de água e volte a colocá-lo no seu

devido lugar.

Atenção: Não retire o depósito de água quando estiver no modo de desumidificaç-

ão ou refrigeração. Se o fizer o sinal de alarme toca e o compressor pára de fun-

cionar.

Se desejar despejar o depósito de água antes deste se encontrar completamente

cheio, desligue o aparelho. Aguarde pelo menos 3 minutos antes de retirar o depó-

sito para evitar que alguma água entre no aparelho.

9. Drenagem constante de água (Fig. 7)

• Da parte lateral do aparelho retire o recipiente de água. Retire-o apenas para

este fim, de outra forma tornar-se-á gotejante. Certifique-se de que o oríficio

para a drenagem de água não está entupido.

• Segure firmemente o recipiente e coloque-lhe o tubo para a água.

• Certifique-se de que o tubo não está danificado.

Atenção: Quando o aparelho está a funcionar ou foi acabado de desligar o reci-

piente para a saída de àgua constante não deve ser retirado, porque pode estar

cheio de água.

10. Filtro de Ar (Fig. 8)

A grelha de entrada de ar está equipada com um filtro de carbono activo e com um

filtro anti sujidade.

LIMPEZA E ARRUMAÇÃO

• Antes de limpar desligue completamente o aparelho.

• Não utilize produtos químicos; ou outros produtos corrosivos para a limpeza

do seu aparelho.

Limpeza do ”corpo” (Fig. 10)

• Utilize apenas e só um pano suave e húmido e seque-o com um pano seco.

Filtro de ar (Fig. 9)

• Limpe o filtro de duas em duas semanas.

• Puche a grelha para fora, para cima e retire-a para fora.

• Cuidadosamente retire as 6 placas plásticas e retires o filtro da grelha.

• Cuidadosamente lave os filtros com água quente (a uma temperatura aproxi-

mada de 40-graus) com um detergente neutro. Deixe os filtros secarem ao ar;

não os exponha ao sol enquanto secam.

• Coloque os filtros secos no seu respectivo lugar e fixe-os à grelha com as seis

placasa plásticas.

Depósito de água

• Retire o depósito de água, esvazie-o e lave-o com água quente (a uma tempe-

ratura aproximada de 40-graus). Seque bem o depósito de água e volte a colo-

cá-lo no seu devido lugar.

Arrumação

• Esvazi-e e seque o depósito de água.

• Retire o "stopper” do tubo de água que se encontra dentro do aparelho. Deixe

que toda a água saia e volte a colocar o tubo dentro do aparelho.

• Limpe o aparelho como está descrito em cima.

• Depois de retirar a água ponha o aparelho a funcionar no modo de ventilação

Durante algumas horas de modo a que este seque completamente.

• Dobre o cabo de alimentação e coloque-o na parte de trás do aparelho.

• Cubra o aparelho com um plástico.

Eliminação

Este símbolo no produto ou na respectiva embalagem indica que o pro-
