"Best Practices" voor uw veiligheid
Voor, tijdens en na het gebruik dient u een aantal
eenvoudige handelingen te verrichten die zeer
belangrijk voor de veiligheid van personen en het
behouden van de efficiëntie van uw motorfiets zijn.
Belangrijk
Houd u tijdens de inrijperiode nauwgezet aan de
aanwijzingen in het hoofdstuk "Gebruiksnormen".
Het niet naleven van deze voorschriften ontheft
Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. van elke vorm van
aansprakelijkheid voor eventuele schade aan de
motor en de levensduur ervan.
Let op
Ga niet met de motorfiets rijden als u
onvoldoende ervaring heeft met de bedieningen die
u tijdens het rijden nodig heeft.
Verricht de controles beschreven in deze handleiding
(zie pag. 173) alvorens u de motor start.
Let op
Het niet verrichten van deze controles kan
schade aan het voertuig en ernstig letsel aan de
bestuurder en/of de eventuele bijrijder veroorzaken.
Let op
Start de motor in de open lucht of in een
voldoende geventileerde ruimte. Start de motor nooit
in een gesloten ruimte.
De uitlaatgassen zijn giftig en kunnen
bewusteloosheid of binnen zeer korte tijd zelfs een
dodelijke afloop tot gevolg hebben.
Neem tijdens het rijden een correcte houding aan.
Verzeker u ervan dat ook de passagier een correcte
houding aanneemt.

De bestuurder dient ALTIJD de beide handen op
het stuur te houden.
Belangrijk
De bestuurder en de passagier dienen hun
voeten tijdens het rijden altijd op de voetsteunen te
zetten.
