De bougies reinigen en vervangen (afb. 77)

De bougies vormen een belangrijk element van het

voertuig en dienen regelmatig te worden gecontroleerd.

Dit is een vrij eenvoudige handeling waarmee ook wordt

gecontroleerd of de motor goed functioneert.

Om een bougie te controleren en eventueel te laten

vervangen, contacteer u een erkende Ducati dealer die

de kleur van de elektrode in het midden zal controleren:

als de kleur overal even lichtbruin is, betekent dit dat de

motor goed werkt.

Ook de slijtage en de ruimte tussen de elektrodes wordt

gecontroleerd; de voorgeschreven ruimte bedraagt:

0,6÷0,7 mm.

Belangrijk

Meer of minder ruimte kan niet alleen de prestaties

van het voertuig verminderen, maar kan ook

startmoeilijkheden veroorzaken of problemen op het

stationair toerental.
