The type of chocolate you can use...
Use only couverture chocolate with the chocolate fountain.
Couverture chocolate can be obtained in several different varieties.
Do not use any chocolate that contains nuts, almonds, raisins etc. These can
cause blockages in the auger.
Do not use ordinary chocolate; it does not contain enough cocoa butter to
allow the chocolate to ow properly through the fountain.
Assembling and operating the device
Do not set up the device outdoors. The chocolate could attract insects.
Additionally, it is not possible to maintain a constant temperature in the
fountain outdoors.
1. Remove the device from its packaging and dispose of the packaging material.
2. Before using the device for the rst time, clean it as described under „Cleaning“.
3. Place the auger over the intake.
4. Place the fountain attachment with the
plastic xture on the pegs in the
pouring tray.
5. Stand the appliance on a stable
and even surface. The appliance
must stand horizontally or the
chocolate will not ow.
